What impressed me, what didn't.
I live outside of Philadelphia, PA, so being able to watch the Colts two weeks in a row is like Christmas to me! I got to see two really exciting games, but I want to talk about last night.
Things I Liked...
1. Pierre Garcon beating D.R.C. That was incredible. He is really starting to grow on me on that right side, with Gonzo in the slot hopefully soon, this offense will be hard to stop. His run where plowed over that one Cardinal was awesome too. Wanye and Clark are so consistant, and Collie showed some promising flashes.
2. Kyle DeVan at RG. I thought the whole O-Line was impressive with pass protection, and some great runs, but DeVan definately outplayed Pollack from what I saw. And going up against Darnell Dockett isn't an easy task. Charlie Johnson was making me happy with some of his downfield blocking during some of the better runs.
3. Handing the ball of to players other than the RB's was really nice. Both Garcon and Clark had nice end around runs. As long as Tom Moore is the OC, we will never see the wild cat in Indy, but this is the next closest thing.
4. The secondary played really well under the circumstances given. Bullit is a playmaker, and Bethea will hopefully stay on this roster next year.
5. Manning. Need I say more...
6. The run defense played really well, although the Cards didn't run very much.
7. The team philosphy was finally used! This team is built to gain an early lead, and keep it. And when that happens, the team plays a lot better as a whole.
Things I Don't Like...
1. Adam Vinateri's days in Indy are numbered. He just doesn't have it anymore.
2. Our short yardage runs are a joke. Partially, it is the size of our lineman, but we need to find a way to fix that.
3. Mike Pollack was getting bullied by Dockett half the night. The other half, DeVan was keeping him at bay.
4. The running game was better, but still needs to be more consistant.
5. So many people were loving the pressure we put on Warner. My problem was, we need to finish the blitz. So many pressures, but we need to get the sacks!
6. Tim Jennings gives to much cushion on WR's. Teams are killing us with the comback routes, and he honestly scares me on the outside.

I feel like i've read this post somewhere before (805's)
Nice job! you expanded it and made it more deep and 805 compressed his thoughts and made it personal. I like the way our fans have different flavors when it comes to writing about the best team.

sacks
I’m not as concerned. There were 2-3 plays that should have been sacks except for offensive holding penalties. Not much more you can do when the other team is cheating.
