Cardiac Colts?
I was wondering if we are seeing the beginning of the end of the Cardiac Colts. This last game, after a slow start, felt like a kind of a throwback to 2005, when the Colts were winning consistently by double digits. It was as complete a game as I've seen in a while. Not that there weren't a couple of close games in 2005, but for the most part, that 2005 season the Colts truly looked unstoppable. That's the way they looked Sunday night. I can't begin to express how incredible I think Garcon is, in every aspect. I expect more great things from him as the season progresses. I want to get to the point where Peyton is just as likely to throw to him as Wayne. Donald Brown is a keeper, nuff said there. And, if the Colts can get another 20 point win against Seattle, the Cardiac Colts may be in trouble. Not that I don't have a certain amount of affection for them. They cut it very close in those games, but usually pulled out a win. But, just the same, I'll be happy to see them go!

Still the cardiac Colts
The first two games were very much of the Cardiac Colts variety. If we can play a team with a real run/passing game and still show up strong, then I’ll believe we’re out of the woods.

I doubt it.
The Colts have a tendency to let good teams (or good game plans) stay with them until the 4th quarter, where Peyton bails them out.
I expect to see a few more of those types of games, with at least one of those being a loss.
Now a proud annoyance on Stampede Blue, 18to88, Indy Football Report, and Phil B's blog.

I agree
This, to me, is like the 2007 team. That team was probably the best statistically. They were the cardiac Colts against good teams, and they hammered bad teams. What is impressive so far is that it has almost been the reverse, hammering the team that I think is the best they have played.

Easy wins, cardiac arrest wins, ugly wins,
I don’t care as long as we win. It’s all good!

I agree that a win is a win
and that’s ultimately the most important thing, but I would just as soon not have a coronary watching them win. I just prefer games where a Colts winning outcome is obvious in the second quarter. (smile)

Watching cardiac arrest games gives me my cardio workout for the week!
That way I can enjoy my game day chocolate and hot buttered popcorn guilt free! (Big Smile)
