I think Bobby Buzzkill is calling them out.

I really can't stand this guy...

at least Phil B. has applied for his homer card. =-)

I don't get this article

He’s just stating old stuff. Why doesn’t he understand that you can’t dwell in the past. If the players and coaches who were there have gotten over the playofff losses, why can’t he?

The last few playoff losses came when we were missing important players. The only reason Billy Volek looked like a pro bowl qb was because we had no pass rush with Freeney out. Same thing last year: Brackett was out; and on top of that, we couldn’t run the ball.

"Do I believe in aliens?" Stephon Marbury asked. "I don't know, because I've never seen one. But I believe in Jesus because I saw him in the shower the other day."

I probably should have checked the FanShots page

before I posted my FanPost about this haha but I read it and had to come over here and put it up. This guy is a schmuck! IndyStar should tell this guy to take a hike!

He insults the players and team to Reggie

And yet he always complains when he doesn’t get enough access to the team. Big freakin’ surprise if you are going to talk like that to a player.

"Brett Favre was a man who thought he was retired, but he knew it wouldn't last."

I really...

cant fault him for what he has said in that article. The truth, whether we like it or not, is that the Colts have failed to produce. The same can be said though of the Chargers, if not more about them than the Colts. They’re always picked ahead of the Colts and they perpetually fail, same as the Cowgirls..

How have they failed to produce?

Since when is being a SuperBowl Champion failing?

Easy now...

Don’t assume that just because I say I can’t fault him that I agree 100% with him. However, take a look at it from this perspective…

7 straight seasons of 10+wins (9 seasons of 10+wins since Manning)
6 straight seasons of 12+wins (8 seasons of 12+wins since Manning)

Now, if we exclude 2006…all we are left with… are 3 playoff wins in 9 seasons…

That’s called failing to produce….no matter how you argue it….sure it’s not all the defense or Manning’s fault. Vanderidiot caused at least 2 seasons of our playoffs to end…

Hey DR,

You aren’t Bobby Buzzkills evil love child, are you? OK, before blood shoots out of your eyes, I’m kidding.

by tim55 on Sep 30, 2009 4:27 PM EDT up reply actions

Why are you excluding 2006?

It happened didn’t it? We won those playoffs games, didn’t we? What’s everybody’s fascination with “if we exclude XXXX, then this happened.” Any way you look at it, excluding something like that is excluding valid data, and any good statistician knows to never exclude data unless you have a really good reason.

So, what’s the reason for excluding 2006?

Now a proud annoyance on Stampede Blue, 18to88, Indy Football Report, and Phil B's blog.

Man, I need a life...

Random fact of the week from the empty void that is my mind: The Atlanta Falcons are the only NFL team to never have back-to-back winning seasons in franchise history.

Cass is correct,

You CAN’T exclude it. For one thing it’s the most important aspect of the last 12 yrs.

I don't care what your arguements are.

The Indianapolis Colts are SuperBowl champions, throwing that out to maintain your arguement is just plain ludicrous.

Sorry

But I’m going to have to disagree….

Yes, we won the SB….with a team that should NEVER have even won a single game in the playoffs based on how they played the last month of that year…. and then in the playoffs….BOOM we’re the best defense in the league…So what the heck happened the other 7-8 years when we were a much better team on offense?

We left how many championships on the table with teams that were SUPERIOR to the 2006 Championship team…..I could careless what the Colts do in the regular season, I just want them to stop getting beat by teams in the first round of the playoffs every year…

Think about it, look at the Steelers in 2005….we spanked them…and they were a Carson Palmer blown knee from getting sent home in the wildcard….and we fell flat on our face….

Same thing in 2007, the Chargers 2 best players arent even in the game for 3 quarters and we LOSE?!!!?! All I’m saying is that Kravitz is right in that the Colts need to run deep in the playoffs for a change….
