PrintIn a really important injury report to see how the Colts' players will respond to the first practice (will knees suddenly flame up, etc.), we have some really good news. Everybody participated fully! While there is a lengthy list of players on the injury report, all of them are listed as "Full Participation." Here's the full list:

On a side note, I think it's hilarious that colts.com doesn't have a head shot for Ervin Baldwin. Poor guy.

Thomas had some value. Tall/long armed DEs can affect a lot of passes even if they don’t get to the QB.
DE Brodderick Binns led Iowa in passes defensed with 9 this past season without ever dropping back in coverage, because although he’s only 6’2" he has the arms of a 6’8" man (basically he’s got a Power Forward’s body type, scaled down to 6’2")

What we used to do for parties
At the beginning of the year, we’d buy 2 or 3 bottles of nice stuff, as a kickoff to the year. We kept the bottles after we finished them.
Then for parties, we’d buy the cheap stuff, and just put it in the expensive bottles. Drunk chicks don’t know the difference anyway.

That often gets called a reverse but it isn’t. The play doesn’t change directions.
QB hands to RB, who heads in one direction before handing it to a WR going the other way (reverse)
That WR would then hand it to another WR going the opposite way (the way the RB was originally going) (double reverse)
The 2nd WR would hand to a WR going back the other way (the way the 1st WR went) (triple reverse)

couple interesting things
FO is much less sure of a favorite or the favorites in general. I think they are right. The book is playing on people likely to buy into the favorites as much more likely than they really are to win. A lot of people don’t seem to get that the better team can lose. They are judging what are the odds I’m wrong about this team, not what are the odds I’m wrong or I’m right and they lose anyway.
They don’t like Indy that much because they don’t adjust for rested starters because they haven’t found a way to do it that makes the predictions more accurate.
