Schmuck Alert

Derek Deese is a schmuck.  At least according to BBS's standards.  I was driving home this afternoon at 12:30 and I tuned in to Fox Sports on 1260 FM.   I was treated to the comedy stylings of Derek Deese (former OT for the Niners), or at least that's what it seemed like.

He was going on and on about how the Colts were "lucky" last night.  The co-host asked him to explain his "lucky" comment.  Mr Deese gave an example: he stated that Peyton throwing the pick was a bad play, but when Garcon "appeared out of nowhere" to knock the ball loose, that was "lucky."  Excuse me?  Luck has nothing to do with sprinting across a field and using your physical skills to achieve a positive outcome.     You can call a lot of things luck, but that play is not one of them.  Moron.

Sounds like Derek lost some money on a game. ;)

He has only himself to blame

if he did. Anybody who knew both teams well would have put big money on the Colts.

You make your own luck

And a couple lucky bounces still wouldn’t have made Joe Flacco start throwing the ball with accuracy.

It's always about you,

even when it isn’t. You just don’t know it yet.

I read some idiot on Yahoo last night

He was a Baltimore fan, average joe, and he said that the Ravens loss can be laid at the feet of Ray Lewis, for the helmet to helmet penalty.

I told him, hey moron, If Ray hadn’t hit Collie, that would have been a TD. Even if he dropped the ball with no penalty, we still would have had the ball so at least a FG. I pointed out that the Ravens lost by THREE scores, so where did Ray Lewis give up the other two?

Check it to Pancakes! Pancakes!

The Colts: We play more football in the fourth quarter than some teams play all year!
