The Jet's "underdog" story.

This post is similar to dmstorm22's post, which i want to quickly give him upmost props for it. Great article.

But im taking my own approach on the matter of this "amazing story"

My approach is this. Why do people LOVE underdogs? specially ones who do it in the cocky and douche manner that NY does it in? Maybe im a wierd person for hating Brees, The saints, and overall any Underdog or "feel good" story in sports. A lot of people have asked me why, heres my answer.

I hate underdogs becuase i look past the one game they preform in. The "Overdog" works hard all year and busts their butt to be good and be considered better. They try hard every game and post a great season through all of their hard work.(indianapolis) So why do teams(Jets) that have a few games won in a row to make the playoffs get rooted for? Obviously they didnt work THAT hard, or they would not be underdogs. They get credit for great games. But its BS.(only exception is that i rooted for NYG in the superbowl, not because they were underdogs, bu because i hate New England)

The Colts made me feel this way. They work so hard. Reggie with the recievers, Manning with the offense, Saturday with his line, Bracket with the LB's and Freeney with the D line. Also everyone works hard and hustles individually. So why is it fair that a team that (may) work hard, and may want it as much as we do to get the support of a country, simply becuase they had a worse record. I dont get why other people dont realize Overdogs are just that becuase they work Harder. If they didnt work as hard, they wouldnt win games. I dont care how much talent you have. If you dont work hard in Any PROFESSIONAL league, you will not succeed.

On a Better note, GO HORSESHOES!!! BEAT THE JETS!
