Anybody know about Freeney's foot?

Freeney went out in the fourth quarter gimpy on his foot.  Is that the lis franc foot?  Have there been any reports on what exactly the injury was?  Lordy, I hope he's OK for the Super Bowl.....It would be such a shame for him to have to sit it out, not to mention we need him out there chasing Brees or Favre around.  I have looked everywhere I know and have found nothing.  Hopefully, somebody will come up with a report soon.

No idea

All I know is that when he had surgery, it was his left foot…don’t recall which foot he hurt today! Hopefully he’ll be alright…we need D-Money!

It didn’t appear to be a re-aggravation of the lis-franc inury. Looked more like he twisted his ankle after stepping down awkwardly.

I think he just twisted it pretty bad

No use puttin him back in there when we had the game locked up. He’ll have two weeks to rehab it, and he is a quick healer. Barring some sort of shocking discovery, I’d say he’ll be ready to go in Miami.

Looked like an ankle

I believe he tweaked his ankle. We all know DFREE, this cat WILL be ready for Miami. He lives to compete and win championships.

That's my take as well

pretty basic twist—he didn’t go down, but hopped up and walked off more or less okay. Since we didn’t need him, that was not fatal. A week of rest. We DO need him, and if we recall how he played through injury earlier this year, he’ll show up.

LovinBlue, let us know what yo ucan.

I hate Joe Namath. That's how long I've been a Colts fan.

I'll see what I can divine

from the little information that gets out there

I assume this week there will be no injury reports, similar to the bye week before the divisional round

How can you not love a team that does this?

He was giving interviews after the game

looking happy and confident. Probably not a guy who has been given bad injury news. I’m more worried about Powers, Brees is gonna use all his recievers and we can’t be having tim jennings out there in the nickel.

Powers I think tweeted

that he will forsure play for the next game, so he thinks he we will

Thanks for the info

Obviously we’ll need 93 and 25 in Miami so this is good news….can’t wait !!!
