It's a game I'm going to pull for my son...Anybody who thinks it's different must not have children.
Poppa Manning makes it clear that blood is thicker than water. What a pointless story by ESPN.

Well, yeah.
I was just over at CSC and some (not all) are upset by this. Are they nuts? Probably don’t have kids like he said.
Oh, and did I forget to mention…
THE COLTS ARE GOING TO THE SUPERBOWL, THE COLTS ARE GOING TO THE SUPERBOWL!!
Sorry, I just can’t help myself today! lol

No way
would I root against my kid just because I played for the other team and I raised my family that city. Archie did the best he could for that franchise even though it didn’t provide him with an o-line (I heard Archie was running for his life every week :-) ) and a defense. His sons have been able to something he wasn’t fortunate to do: get to the Super Bowl. The folks over at CSC need to realize that blood is thicker than mud, even the muddy waters of the Mississippi!
Peyton Manning makes it Wayne on them hoes!!!!
i think most do
GO COLTS!!! 09 IS OURS!!!

Yeah, blood is thicker than water, but
is it thicker than 40 years of free, rum-infused slushie drinks at local bars?
Well now, I guess for HIM it is….
I hate Joe Namath. That's how long I've been a Colts fan.
Thought this was kinda funny...
Someone joked to Peyton that maybe Archie could be harvested for more QBs. "I think he’s done," he deadpanned.
Peyton's deadpan is the best.

Random fact of the week from the empty void that is my mind: This is how the Mario games should have ended.
I can assure you....
that you would be hard pressed to find anyone in New Orleans who had a slightly negative word to say about Archie Manning. And of course Saints fans understand he will be, and should be, rooting for his son. If anyone on CSC had a different sentiment, I would guess they are probably about 18 years old and don’t know any better.
This isn’t even a new story. Earlier this year, there was a great photograph of Archie, with his arm around Eli, who had just suffered a pretty horendous day in the first game he ever played in the Superdome.
Archie is an icon in New Orleans. Peyton and Eli are beloved native sons of which the city is very proud. They only become the “enemy” for the 60 minutes they are going against the Saints. After the game, everything goes back to normal and we love them again.
It is too bad for Archie’s sake that the first time the Saints get to the Super Bowl, it is against a team quarterbacked by one of his sons. Otherwise, there wouldn’t be any doubt who he would be rooting for.
It is kind of sad.
I would root for the Saints against any other AFC team but the Colts too.

That's right Archie.
I agree with you Archie. I believe all SAINTS’ fans agree with you too. On behalf of Archie Manning, “Go Colts.”
But for me, I say—-“Go SAINTS!”
