Has made a championship game in the past 2 years and Clausen is so much better than Sanchez or Flacco. Clausen is one of the most polished QBs to come out in recent draft history. Weis sucked as a head coach, but he is arguably the best QB coach in football history.

The only way you can get a power conference to agree to play a mid-major is with a 2 home-1 away system. I applaud Stevens for not going with that. Home-and-homes are the best way to go for a mid-major.

I’ve not been to California in ages. Might visit this March if my brother has his way. My cousin lives in San Diego and they want us to all to take a cruise to Cabo San Lucas. I just don’t care for cruises… especially with family. :)

The weather here has been pretty nice. I love the rain but I despise walking through it on campus because it’s really cold. It was awesome in Florida though during the summer. Warm rain is good.

I was just thinking about how fun the draft could be. A lot of people here (Shake and Colts Homer, like you said) have so much knowledge that they can rub off on us. I do know some about college football but I know the people here know more than me so it’d be cool to learn about different players from them

It’s mandatory, well not really. I had the choice of 2 semesters of foreign language OR Anthropology and Art History, took Anthropology, Art History is next semester!

I never took anthropology… or at least an intro class. I took an anthropology class that was an honors seminar called Islamic Iberia. Mainly because it included a three week trip to Spain and Portugal (and a stop in Tanger).

It was an awesome trip. We were with the president of the Uni so lots of wine in the evenings and eating at the best restaurants… got into some crazy clubs in Madrid. Saw the UEFA world cup b/w Celtic and Porto in Sevilla. Just an amazing trip.

I was going to go to Peru and Brazil last year, but one of my best friends decided to have her wedding right in the middle of the trip and asked me to help her plan it in a month and half. We had it on Hilton Head. That part was fun – I had an awesome time shark fishing. Just not as awesome as Machu Picchu would’ve been.

They scored on 13 consecutive possessions in the 2nd half. All of them were either Free Throws or Layups/Dunks.
And Georgetown is the 3rd best team in the Big East.

I do like JTIII though. They play great basketball on both ends of the floor.

rebuilding is the word I prefer
Tom Crean is a basketball genius who really seems to care about the game and his players. Those kind of guys are hard to find. Give them a year or two and they will be back to their once proud form.
That being said, with the young talent that they do have they are playing great ball and giving good teams a run for their money. Already beat Pitt, took a buzzer beater for Illinois to get them. They’ve knocked off Minnesota and I expect them to give Purdue fits. Love to be able to root for a team that is renowned for my first love, basketball. Can’t wait to see something special out of these guys.

I’m too tired but then woke up at 4 and started watching tennis – just couldn’t make it to the desk to get laptop… I was stuck on the couch
