Sam "Guns" Giguere's Motivational Poster

JakeTheSnake's post earlier about Sam Giguere got me thinking about Giguere. (And of course, I strongly disagree with Scouts Inc's ranking of Guigere!) Then I saw Sir Sci's excellent posting with all the great motivational posters he created for Colts players. Sam may only have played for a short bit this season, but I think his future is bright and he deserves his own fake motivational poster. So with a tip of the hat again to Sir Sci, here's my own take on what an inspirational poster for Sam "Guns" Giguere might look like. (The shot is from the Colts summer traning camp.) I couldn't think of a funny saying for underneath his name, so I just went with "French for Guns of Steel." I was also thinking of something like "His guns are locked and loaded." If anyone has better suggestions, let me know!

Why Giguere?

I saw him at Colts Training Camp and was impressed with what I saw. Plus he stopped for autographs, which is always nice. I think I’m just pulling for the guy because he’s kind of an underdog. He’s been part of the practice squad for the Colts for two years and just before the final regular season game finally got a chance to be part of the active team roster. And he actually performed well when given the chance. So I’m just hoping in the next year or so, he’s given more opportunities to prove himself.

I’m a bigger fan, of course, of Manning, Clark, Wayne, Collie, Garcon, Gonzalez, Freeney, Mathis, Vinatieri, etc., but on a team full of so many All-Stars, it’s kind of fun to root for a guy who most people don’t even know is on the team.

Plus, how can you not root for a guy with such a cool nickname like “Guns”?
