Woah woah woah...
…I just KNOW you’re not trying to take Vinatieri from us (again). He’s on there for what he did with the Patriots.
Offensive Coordinator > Guard > Tackle > DE > OLB > RB > WR > CB
Deservedly so,
but his body of work over the decade is legit with both teams. He’s possibly on the cusp of retirement (although I don’t think he will for at least another season), but it’s impossible to dissociate Vinny from you guys.
Oh, and before you get upset that Brady is before Manning...
…it’s alphabetical. Or by how many Super Models you’ve knocked up/illegitimate children you have. But I’m pretty sure it’s alphabetical.

Saturday is actually
one of the only gripes I have with this list. Is it me, or does it seem like a large number of “analysts” still judge centers overwhelmingly by run-blocking performance?
It’s nice that Free is starting to get credit for being the most disruptive force in the NFL. (Now all we need is for refs to acknowledge the constant holds….) Makes me wonder if he’d have been left off the list if they were only picking three ends.
Randy Moss and TO… are we establishing morale-killing as a criterion, then?
Moss played this season with a separated shoulder...
…and never complained and continued to produce.
TO is another story.

Non Sibi Sed Patriae.

I bleed Scarlet and Grey...A Buckeye for Life
...and he didn't play in Oakland when healthy.
What’s your point?
Name ANYONE in Oakland who played...
…especially when being thrown to by Andrew Walter.
In 2005, when thrown to by Kerry Collins, Moss still posted a 1000 yard year.
In 2006, Walter was QB for part of the year. The team posted only 7 (SEVEN) passing TDs all season. 3 of them were to Moss. When you’re the best weapon on the team, of course you’re going to have lower stats because you’ll be the main focus. When you’re the ONLY weapon on the team, you’ll post nothing. When you’re the ONLY weapon on the RAIDERS, you might as well have your salary paid in happy pills because no good will come from that situation.
Offensive Coordinator > Guard > Tackle > DE > OLB > RB > WR > CB
Wait,
so you’re saying that #1 receivers consistently under-perform their teammates statistically? And that someone like Andre Johnson or Calvin Johnson didn’t put up numbers in the years they were their offenses’ only weapons? Those are your words up there, correct?
But this is secondary to my point. Randy Moss doesn’t play like Randy Moss when Randy Moss isn’t happy or contented or interested, or whatever bullshit excuse that can be made about his willingness to dog it when he feels under-appreciated. That sort of attitude should keep anyone off an all-decade list, even if they’re as talented as Moss.

If Bob Sanders would/could stay healthy I could see him on that list over Troy Polamalu
Both get injured a lot, both are absurdly good...
…the Steelers are hopeless without Polamalu, the Colts can trek on without Sanders. More of an “MVP” edge to Polamalu. Also, his hair is fantastic.

Probably the best in the decade.
Yes, over Saturday.
