Colts Re-Re-Sign Tyjuan Hagler, Cut DaJuan Morgan UPDATE Inactives For Game
Special thanks to Dann Giszewski for posting a FanPost about this.
The Colts have re-re-signed Tyjuan Hagler, according to the always excellent Mac's Football Blog. Hagler was cut last week to make room for Javarris James on the active roster. To make room for Hagler today, the Colts cut DaJuan Morgan.
Hagler is available for today's game, and with Morgan gone, it seems likely Brandon King will start at strong safety today for the Colts.
[UPDATE]: Aaron Francisco will start at strong safety for the Colts, according to Phil Wilson at the Indy Star. Also from Phil are the inactives for today's game: Anthony Gonzalez, Bob Sanders, Jacob Lacey, Donald Brown, Kavell Conner, Jacques McClendon, Jaimie Thomas, and Jerry Hughes.

I can’t believe how worthless the draft was for this year. Every week it seem that Hughes and McClendon our inactive. Don’t hear from Angerer at all, third rounder is IRed, Conner is hurt, Fisher cut. It’s too early and way out of line to call it a bust, but it’s expecting a lot from a team when you don’t bolster it at all.

Colts
Not to dig this issue back back, but they are very much living off the youth imported during 2009 draft.

Good news is
That our receivers are all active. I think it’s a big day for Peyton and company. This should also open things up for Addai. Brandon Flowers is a good corner and Eric Berry is eventually gonna be a star but today won’t be their day. I think they cut Hagler so they could take a long look at Morgan this week so we could make an informed decision on safety. I kinda figured that Hagler would be re-signed.

Guess someone things Gonzalez is already on his way out of town.
And I didn’t know something happened to Hughes. Not like was getting playing time anyways.

I called it
In the post about who will start at safety versus the Chiefs, I knew sooner or later (sooner than I thought) DaJuan Morgan was going to get cut, Im surprised Aaron Francisco got the starting job, I was hoping maybe Brandon King or Mike Newton might see some action
