Jumped out of my seat for that...

What a frickin catch. Geeez. Garcon may get the dropsies… but that was a heck of a catch.

Plays like this and the long ball...

Are what make me excuse Garcon for the “occasional” drop.

Garcon is the definition of inconsistent.

If he becomes more consistent, he can be a force.

That is one

That will make some highlight reels. I still can’t believe he hauled that thing in.

Seriously

Are you f***ing kidding me? I saw this last night and had to rewind the DVR a few times.

Hands down, the best catch I’ve seen by any player in the league, since Harrison made that 1 handed Superman grab in Tennessee several years ago. Even that catch might not be as good as this was.

As for the comments about Garcon, he only dropped a single pass in this game…

Nitpicking

Technically it was 2, but that second pass that bounced off his fingertips may have been poorly thrown. Not totally sure where Manning was putting some of those throws last night.

Actually

The ball clipped his outstretched finger tips, and possibly dislocated/jammed his fingers. Despite that, he made a heck of an effort trying to get his hands on a ball that was thrown nowhere near where he was.

I can’t consider it a drop when the ball is badly thrown or thrown in the wrong area by Manning. Just like on the missed throw near the end zone. Had the ball been better thrown, Garcon might have walked into the end zone with a TD.

I really, REALLY miss Bob Sanders. One of my favorite players (in any sport) of all time.
