Hey Folks this is my conspiracy theory open thread.

Are the injuries across the league this year a fluke?  What about all the concussions or purposeful hits helmet to helmet?  My theory is maybe the Players Union is staging some of this to make the game look so dangerous and so nasty that there will no way in hell be an 18 game season.  I don't know just a conspiracy thought. It seems to be shaping up as a strange season and I wonder if there are behind the scenes politics being played with the Players Union vs. Team Owners. Please discuss.
