Around SBN: Trent Richardson Interviews Fellow Brown Brandon Weeden

I give the nod to undrafted rookie Brandon King over DaJuan Morgan to replace Melvin Bullitt at safety for the #Colts.

Indy Star's Phil Wilson thinks the former Purdue corner, converted to safety this year, will get the starting strong job after Melvin Bullitt's season ended with a shoulder injury.

I'm usually pretty optimistic

But this season is looking bleaker and bleaker……We are going to have to face some serious passing teams in the near future………………..brb crying.

I agree with Phil there

In college King was a pretty good Safety, but due to lack of depth at corner he was moved cause he was better at it than most of the others we had.

See Ball, Get Ball. Quarterback Has Ball, Sack Him.

Didn’t know he played safety in college.

another advantage

is that King has been with the Colts since the offseason, so will have simply had more time in the system

How can you not love a team that does this?

who thinks Mike Newton gets promoted from the Practice Squad?

Three healthy safeties is simply too few, given all the clean-up tackles our scheme requires of them.
