Around SBN: Trent Richardson Interviews Fellow Brown Brandon Weeden

One of the best updates I've seen in a while from Phil B., based on the number of players quoted.

Some highlights: Gonzo popped into the locker room and declared that he's "close," Garcon declared that he will play, Francisco confirms he has been healed from a hamstring injury for 3 weeks, Baby J talks about going to sleep a Patriot (YUCK!), working out as a Redskin, then going to sleep as a Colt

Gonzo is close

Sweet! That means there’s a pretty good chance he could still play this decade!

lol

I really like Gonzo, but he has been a disappointment so far. Sad thing, but if he’s after the bye it would actually surprise me.

Exactly--close is relative

Like when my dad and grandfather both say they were “this close” to catching a fish. With one it means the hook slipped as he was pulling it into the boat and with the other it means that he saw a fish jump out of the water on the other side of the lake.

Gonzo seems to be on geologic time. On that scale, the last ice age was just a little while ago.

Wait, what do you mean by decade?

Did it start 1/1/2010, or does it start 1/1/2011?

Big difference for Gonzo’s sake: playing before the post-season THIS season or playing sometime in the next nine years…. sigh.

I hate Joe Namath. That's how long I've been a Colts fan.

Morgan

Looks like Morgan’s gonna be our guy.

I am happy for him. He is fast, a hard hitter and has upside (unlike Francisco, who is a good ST player though)

Gook luck with Morgan.

He seems to have all the makings of a good safety, but just doesn’t seem to get it. Maybe he will work out for the Colts.
