Well, well, well. Will you look at that. The kicker who was, supposedly, 'done' has gone and proven the naysayers wrong. From the Indianapolis Star's Twitter:
Colts kicker Adam Vinatieri named AFC special teams player of the week. He was 3-3 and hit a 47-yarder last Sunday.
Vinatieri is quietly having a Pro Bowl season. He is fifth in the league in field goal percentage (90%) going 17-19 on the season thus far, including 6-5 on FGs between 40-49 yards. He's also 27-27 on extra points.
The only kicker in the AFC having a better season than Adam is Rob Bironas of the Titans.
