It's an age old story and the reason we don't have three or four rings!!!

  No run game and no run defense!!!!  Yes, we had a run game a few years back but no defense to speak of.  We had a defense the year we went 13 wins in a row but no running game.  Lately, we have had neither and without enough healthy weapons for Manning he can no longer hide the weak links.  Also, Peyton is not looking too sharp.  Caldwell, I don't know, he doesn't impress.  Polian, so proud of discovering unknown talent that he won't go after veterans in the off season.  Personally, after so many trips to the play-offs and only one ring I think this team needs a be shaken up. No more Dungy/Caldwell/Polian philosophy guiding this team.  It does not lead to championships.  Just a lot of near misses.  The Peyton era will not last forever. The window will close in the next four or five years. How much time will Irsay waste with a "close but no cigars" system.
