Titans put claim on Moss, Rams interested to!
Article by Don Banks explaining Titans put claim on Moss. Personally, with such a tough fight going on in this division, it would be awful for the Colts, if the Titans claim him. Kenny Britt is good enough by himself, imagine if Moss was constantly drawing double coverage for him.
Where's Waldo has nothing on the new guessing game that's burning up the back channels of the NFL on this Wednesday afternoon: Whither Randy? As in which teams might have claimed or intend to claim ex-Vikings receiver Randy Moss on waivers, and which lucky (or unlucky?) club will be awarded the future Hall of Fame talent when the 4 p.m. ET deadline expires?
Here's what I've gleaned from league sources today:
• If 21 other teams take a pass on Moss, the Tennessee Titans, holding the 22nd spot in the waiver claim order (based on an inversed version of the current league standings) will jump on him. The Titans have put in a claim for Moss, and he'd be a logical replacement for the team's injured No. 1 receiver, Kenny Britt, who pulled a hamstring Sunday in San Diego and is expected to miss several games. Titans head coach Jeff Fisher is intrigued with Moss's well-known ability to make catches in traffic, going up for the ball. Britt is just starting to develop similar skills as a big-play receiver.
Childress: Trading for Moss was 'a poor decision'
• Teams that have some level of need at receiver who have decided to not touch Moss include Atlanta (the Falcons thought about it and talked themselves out of it), Baltimore (getting Donte' Stallworth back on the field this week at home against Miami), the Jets (too many potential headaches already on hand), and Seattle (don't want to take the chance of adding Moss to their locker room).
• St. Louis is another team that is strongly considering claiming Moss, and at No. 13 in the waiver claim order the Rams might be well-positioned to get him. But the Rams are still deciding whether or not adding Moss fits with the locker room culture that head coach Steve Spagnuolo has tried to build in his two years on the job.
• No. 18 Miami and No. 21 New Orleans are also teams I've heard that have or are considering filing a claim for Moss. The Dolphins could be doing so to block Moss from winding up back in New England. Again, the Jets, another of Miami's AFC East rivals, have reportedly ruled Moss out.
• The number of teams that will wind up putting in a claim for Moss is about four, according to most of the league sources I contacted. Tennessee, St. Louis, Miami and New Orleans would be my best guesses, with San Diego as a potential surprise entry. The Rams, at No. 13, would get the rights to Moss if there are just those four teams, minus San Diego. But the Chargers hold the No. 10 slot and would trump St. Louis if they make a claim.

Britt’s injured. He’s out indefinitely. No need to worry about Randy drawing double coverage and opening it up for Kenny. Nate Washington may be another story, but I’m not as worried about him as Britt.

Good point eddiedean
didnt realize that at all…plus I mean he divides locker rooms and thats the exact reason why colts would never even attempt to claim him
COLTS FOOTBALL
This year there is very little chance for Randy Moss to make a team better. I actually see this as a win for the Colts because we’ve been great against teams’ #1 receiver, we won’t play them until close to the end of the season when (hopefully) we’ve gotten significantly healthier, and there’s a strong chance that Moss will make that team completely implode.
In other news, Chris Johnson is on my fantasy team. If the Titans throw to Moss on the goal line instead of running Johnson, I’ll officially shit a brick.

moss will hurt the texans more
like Indy the texans havae 2 games to play against the titans but the Colts are good against #1 WR and our defense should be even better for that last game , the texans on the other hand should be just shitting in their pants because their defense sucks

Jeff Fisher
will hate him more than Brad Childress did, but what the hell do I care I hope he rips that lockeroom in half.
Given the Colts need to put an extra defender in the box
to deal with Chris Johnson I think it’s going to hurt quite a bit. The Colts can’t afford to have their D stretched vertically against a great back like CJ. The only good news is that they don’t have a great (or even good) QB to throw the ball to Moss.
I also don’t think Moss will damage their locker room, not because he isn’t a prima donna, but because he is essentially auditioning for the big contract he wants after this season. He isn’t going to get $10 million/year unless he shows he can buckle down and just play ball the rest of the year.
CJ is not the kind of back that hurt the Colts
The colts are fast to the ball and big, strong backs seems to be the colts achilles not CJ and our tampa 2 with Powers should be enough to deal with moss, and besides is not that he has Tom Brady as his QB .. Now the texans should be worried that’s 2 games they will lose with that joke of a defense

Collins-to-Moss didn't work in Oakland..
…who says it will work in Tennessee, all these years later?
