NFL.com reports Session's injuries more significant than initially reported
Indianapolis Colts linebacker Clint Session played through a dislocated elbow and fractured forearm Monday night, according to a league source.
Session reportedly suffered the injuries during the first half of Monday night's 30-17 win over the Texans but refused to come out and helped lead the Colts to a key divisional win.
Wow. For all of you who have bashed the guy, man...talk about putting on your big boy pants and manning up. I saw the injury and I at first was concerned it might be another wrist injury (see Dallas Clark, Brian Urlacher). Once he returned, I figured maybe he just got it rolled up or something...
The only real positives about this is that the forearm can be put in a cast, and the elbow will just continue to remain painful. That means he can still play. That means he doesn't have to be out for weeks at a time. Conner is due back anytime, as he's already being added to limited time in practice. Angerer is capable of filling in if necessary. Hagler is back on the roster as well....
My thought is let's dress him for the game, but he doesn't play. Let him rest this week and get the other guys some more reps. We'll need him against the Patriots far more than we will the next 2 opponents.
