Hey Stampede Blue readers,
Thought I'd give you the option on what you want to see me write about this week. I was thinking about expanding on my theory that Coyer's scheme relied too much on ineffective LB blitzes that were stonewalled repeatedly and allowed Vick to sprint forward out of the pocket and into a vacated middle of the field. I can't believe how stubborn Coyer was in sticking with that even after it was tremendously ineffective in the first half. It sure seemed to cost the Colts and it seemed like most big Vick runs came against a heavy LB blitz.
But if you're not interested in that, there are a few other options, including:
- An analysis of Donald Brown as a featured back - how he performed and how the Colts used him.
- A look at how the Eagles defended the Colts before the Collie injury and after he was gone, and how that affected Manning and the offense.
- A breakdown of who was forced into action due to injury (J. James, B. White, Lacey, C. Brown, etc.) and how they performed.
- A take on Jacob Tamme and life after Dallas Clark.
Or any other you'd like to see me take into consideration, bonus points for recs.
