Why One Colts Fan Hates The Jaguars

Collin McCollough, our outstanding writer here at Stampede Blue, posted the quoted opus below as part of his weekly Luke Links article. Since we've opted to delay the Luke Links until tomorrow morning, I thought it only appropriate to post Collin's Jaguars rant now, seeing as I just had to deal with a ton of Jags trolls attacking our site.

To all the insecure Jags fans out there, relax. Collin hates the Jags for reasons all fans hate other teams. Hope everyone enjoys.

Collin McCollough:

I hate the Jaguars.

I suppose, if you're a Jacksonville fan, you should take pride in that.  I hate the Jaguars more than any other team in the NFL.  Yes, I hate the Jaguars more than the Patriots.  Yes, I hate the Jaguars more than the Chargers.  Yes, I hate the Jaguars more than the Steelers or Ravens or Jets or Texans.

I hate the Jaguars because they could field a team of Aaron Moorehead clones and still keep it to a three-point game.  I hate the Jaguars because the Colts could literally construct a concrete wall spanning the sidelines and Maurice Jones-Drew would still find a way to rack up 150 yards.  I hate the Jaguars because Vic Ketchman represents the Jaguars, and no other NFL team that I'm aware of hires its own in-house pom-pom wearing Waldorf (or Statler, I suppose) to represent the organization.  I hate the Jaguars because they parade "375" like a Super Bowl, the year the Colts incidentally won the Super Bowl, and continue to hold on to that game like it will be enshrined in Canton some day.  I hate the Jaguars because they subjected me to 375, which was the most brutal Colts game I've ever had to endure this side of 41-0.

Editor's note: Continued after jump...

Star-divide

I hate the Jaguars because of Mike Peterson.  I hate Mike Peterson.  I hate the Jaguars because of Josh Scobee.  Man, do I hate Josh Scobee.  I hate the Jaguars because of wigglesticks and Team Teal.  I hate the Jaguars because Jack Del Rio is their head coach.  I loathe Jack Del Rio.

But mostly, I hate the Jaguars because, regardless of their actual, collective level of talent, they are always a good team against the Colts.  Always.  They always run all over the Colts, whether Corey Simon or Keyunta Dawson is manning the middle.  They always execute the world's simplest, least gimmicky gameplan that the Colts can never defend.  Their TEs always terrorize the Colts.  Maurice Jones-Drew has a beach house inside Bill Polian's head.  David Garrard shows up to play regardless of who he is throwing to.

For all the reasons I hate the Jaguars, I hate them most of all for doing their part in keeping alive a bitter rivalry.  Why can't they just fold like the Titans?  Why can't they draw up some monumentally-stupid offensive gameplan like the Texans?  Why, for the sake of all things holy, are they in first place in the AFC South in December?

Because they're the Jaguars.  And I hate the Jaguars.  But probably not as much as they hate the Colts.

Go Colts.

I hate the Jaguars as well for the same reasons.

But, I also hate some of the Colts decision-makers for putting a team on the field which can’t stop a run, and allows the Jaguars to be competitive with us, when they clearly shouldn’t be.

agree...

the jaguars play us the exact same way with the same gameplan every time, and yet no adjustments are ever made and we continue to let them make it a game when it should be a blowout. We just rely on our offense to outscore them, which has worked most of the time, but not always the best strategy.

True enough.

The lack of a competent special teams unit, and the embarrassment of a porous run defense always put Manning behind the power curve. As I’ve mentioned before, these issues are recurring problems that happen every year. When most teams have a weakness, they actually do something to fix it in a reasonable length of time, like a season or two. Not the Colts. When was the last time the Colts had a special teams unit that wasn’t a complete clusterfuck? And, when was the last time the Colts had a running game that could actually gain more than a yard on a consistent basis? Exactly. Yet, nothing ever changes. That’s why I’ve always said, the Manning years are being wasted. It’s a shame, really, because he’s the most talented player to ever step onto a field.

Are you a Colts fan or a Manning fan, out of interest?

You just make it sound like you only like Manning, and the rest of the team is just 52 disappointments that happen to share a locker-room with the guy.

It’s a little strange.

I'm a Colts fan.

I’m just a fan who’s not afraid to say it like it is. I wish these issues surrounding Peyton didn’t exist. But, they do. Every year.

by Ayrshire on Dec 16, 2010 8:57 PM EST up reply actions

But it's clearly not as bad as you're making out

The surrounding cast is injured this year and the Colts are hovering around 0.500. The only difference is that someone took a buzzsaw to the Colts roster and they’re all on the injury list. Wouldn’t that suggest that the normal roster, minus injuries, would be another 12-win playoff lock?

Peyton by himself is a 6-win QB (or whatever the Colts are at the moment). That means the other 6 wins every other year are on the rest of the roster. The way you make it out, you’d think the whole Colts roster are practice squad scrubs, all the time…

Injuries definitely played a part, this year, no doubt.

But, my frustrations come from the fact that various areas of play with this franchise always seem to be weak, which puts an unbelievable burden on Peyton and the offense. These weak areas are not even average. What other team in the history of the league gets gashed for 375 yards running by another team? Sure, Manning’s had some very good receivers, and he and his receivers were good enough most of the time to win. But, he never really had much help from special teams and defense. It’s frustrating, when I think what could have been. I still support the team though. But, I just call it as I see it.

by Ayrshire on Dec 17, 2010 12:57 AM EST up reply actions

The team's clearly built to put up a lead quickly and then defend the pass

but that doesn’t work when you don’t get the initial lead. If the other team can stay balanced in run/pass, the Colts Cover-2 is too small and light to stick with it. In saying that, it’s a philosophical choice, and not a bad one – the Giants, Colts, Bears and Vikings have all had success with the Cover-2 lately. They’ve all suffered when they haven’t been able to put up a lead enough to keep the opposition from running it.

Well, if a team's success

is contingent upon the offense getting the initial lead, then I think that school of thought is flawed. I’ve seen this team stop the run at times very well. Unfortunatey, those games are far and few between. Most of the time, they’re porous. And then there’s a completely different issue with special teams. In my opinion, special teams is contributing to losses, or at least, keeping scores closer than they should be. You seem to have good football knowledge, but as a Patriot’s fan, you’re probably not going to feel the same frustrations. All of this was good enough to get us to two superbowls and win one, but I think much more could have and should have been attained, considering we have one of the top ten football players of all time taking snaps.

by Ayrshire on Dec 17, 2010 9:15 AM EST up reply actions

I hate this notion that our team is "built" to put up a quick lead

Sure we have a high powered offense with one of the best quarterbacks of all time and obviously they are expected to put up a lot of points throughout the game. However, to just “build” a team around expectations that they’ll just score early and often every game so they only have to “defend the pass” is ludicrous. Obviously that doesn’t happen every game and bad decisions/bad luck/penalties sometimes force us into early deficits, and then Manning has to bail the team out with a come from behind victory. If it weren’t for Mannings heroics late in so many games, this team would be truly awful. And if a defense is only built to play well when it’s already in the lead then that’s showing a complete disregard by the front office and the guys managing this team for the way the game of football is played. If a defense is horrible against the run year in and year out, fucking do something about it.

by GoHorse18 on Dec 17, 2010 9:15 AM EST up reply actions

However, to just "build" a team around expectations that they’ll just score early and often every game so they only have to "defend the pass" is ludicrous.

You don’t get first-round receiver (Gonzalez) after first-round receiver (Clark) after first-round receiver (Wayne) after first-round receiver (Harrison) unless you’re clearly wanting the ability to score first and score fast.

And if a defense is only built to play well when it’s already in the lead then that’s showing a complete disregard by the front office and the guys managing this team for the way the game of football is played. If a defense is horrible against the run year in and year out, fucking do something about it.

All those 12-win seasons suggest it works pretty well. Shrug. Only the Steelers and Pats could possibly say their systems work better, and even that’s debatable.

Those 12 win seasons just meant that Manning

was great enough to compensate for all the weaknesses. That’s my opinion. If some of the weaknesses the team had were even brought up to ‘average’, then I think the Colts, too, would have multiple rings.

by Ayrshire on Dec 17, 2010 7:53 PM EST up reply actions

...

But that logic clearly doesn’t work, because he can’t do that this year. Manning’s still there, it’s the rest of the talent that’s injured, and it’s only a .500 team.

Clearly the difference between this 6- or 8- win season and the normal 12-win season are the players not named P. Manning, because that’s all that’s missing this season.

By that logic, every 12-win season is presumably because the rest of the roster is filled with the requisite talent.

by Comedic.Sans on Dec 17, 2010 9:40 PM EST up reply actions

It's perfect logic.

There’s nothing wrong with the logic. First of all, the season isn’t over. We may end up at 10 wins, but even for a 12 win season, many times it should have ended better. Yes, obviously, there’s a drop-off when injuries occur to Dallas Clark, Joeseph Addai, Austin Collie etc. who are great talents and a reliable targets, but weak special teams, who rarely give Manning a chance to start beyond the 20, and a defense that can’t stop the run, contribute to closer games and eventually not running the table in the playoffs. If those areas were fixed by management, it’s my opinion this team would have multiple championships and usually lopsided wins. Manning has had good receivers, that’s it, except for when he had James. He and his receivers were good enough to have several 12 win seasons, but not several championships. Throw in even average defense and special teams, and it even gets better from there, in my opinion. Unfortunately, he’s never had that, other than the tail end of 2006. What is difficult to understand here?

by Ayrshire on Dec 18, 2010 3:05 AM EST up reply actions

If I had some bacon, I could make bacon and eggs, if I had some eggs...

The whole point of the salary cap is so that a team can’t have an utterly dominant pool of talent in all positions all the time.

The Colts have a QB who Irsay’s promised to make the NFL’s highest paid player, ever. They also have the two best strip-sacking DEs of the last decade on the roster, both of whom aren’t cheap. That’s a significant part of the salary cap tied up in three players. That necessarily means that somewhere on the roster, they need to have cheaper (and thus less talented) players.

Teams with good special teams often don’t have that kind of talent elsewhere on the roster. The Seahawks are rated highly on special teams, yet have nowhere near the talent of Manning at QB or Mathis and Freeney at DE. They are, however, loaded on the ST front.

Basically, you can’t have both. That’s just a reality of the NFL and its salary cap, and it’s exactly what the salary cap was designed to do – spread the wealth of talent. Be happy with your franchise QB and two franchise DEs – most other teams would be. It’s more palatable to convince yourself that the ST units are ‘letting down’ the QB than it is to have a strong ST unit and not actually know who your QB will be next Sunday.

I disagree completely.

Some of the Colts players who are receiving gigantic contracts certainly aren’t worth even close to the money they’re being paid. Sanders never sees the field, Hayden is average at best, if that. I believe a more respectable special teams unit could take the field if better personnel decisions were made. And, the same goes for the defense. If paying Freeney, Hayden, and Sanders huge bucks turns the rest of the defense and special teams into garbage, then what’s the point? Their philosphy got them to be one of the most dominant teams of the past decade, due to Manning, but I believe they could have been, without a doubt, the most dominant, with more championships to prove it. It’s just my opinion. Don’t try to tell me my logig is skewed regarding this, because I won’t buy it. I respect your right to disagree with me, but I see it the way I see it. Now, I’m going to go make myself some bacon and eggs.

by Ayrshire on Dec 18, 2010 10:40 AM EST up reply actions

If paying Freeney, Hayden, and Sanders huge bucks turns the rest of the defense and special teams into garbage, then what’s the point?

The Colts let in a ST TD in Super Bowl XLI. However, Mathis forced a fumble, Freeney recovered a different fumble, Kelvin Hayden had a 56-yard pick-6, Bob Sanders had an interception and 38-yard return.

Point? ST was ‘garbage’ – they let in a TD, and then had to squib every other kickoff. Manning wasn’t great – threw a pick to double-coverage, botched a handoff to Addai that the Bears recovered. But those three guys you picked out as disappointments – Freeney, Hayden, Sanders – were primarily responsible for the only Ring Manning has.

Go figure.

I think Collin hates them cause they are surprisingly good, to be honest before I was a Colts fan, I used to root for the Jaguars (but wasn’t really a fan) because of their awesome uniforms and my favorite relative was living in Jacksonville, Florida.

But Since 2003, all that has become irrelevant since now I’m a die-hard Colts and my auntie has moved back to New Orleans.

I especially hate Vic Ketchman.

Every year, his columns say the same thing. Someone will write in (probably Ketchman himself) about making a trip to Indy for a game, asking if there is any interesting sights to see while they’re there. And, Ketchman always replies that there is ’ absolutely nothing that he can think of’. How profoundly original. But he does it every year. It’s getting old.

by Ayrshire on Dec 15, 2010 5:53 PM EST reply actions

He might be my least favorite thing about the Jaguars...

Seriously, every other NFL team laughs their butts off at the Jaguar organization for employing Ketchman. No other team has an in-house homer like that who provides bulletin board material to other teams, throws barbs at other players and teams and fans while completely glossing over his own team’s flaws and doing his best to put on a sunny face for the guy cutting his checks. Ketchman barks loud, but the fact of the matter is that he’s always on a leash.

It’s just unprofessional to the point of being bush league. I’ve thought this for several seasons and continue to be amazed that the Jaguars continue to employ him. It just makes their organization look so JV.

Strangely

Vic is one of the things I love about being a Jags fan. I don’t always agree with what he says, but he is an entertaining grumpy old man… and it’s extremely enjoyable having that level of “interaction” with the franchise you support.

You guys can hate him all you like, I’m very happy us Jags fans have him.

by KeithG on Dec 16, 2010 2:48 AM EST up reply actions

It's just unprofessional...

I’m sure Vic is giddy as hell about his job. I would be too. Basically you don’t have to worry about controversy because you’re barely allowed to criticize anyone or anything in the franchise, and all you have to do is hate on everything outside of Jacksonville. He only needs to spend a minimal amount of effort recycling the same barbs year in and year out.

But it’s not about Vic the man so much as it is about Vic the representation of the Jaguars’ organization. I don’t know how the Jaguars don’t see how amateur it looks hiring a guy like Vic to do what he does. I mean, answer is: they don’t care. But still, it’s just a bad look for the Jaguars. Of course, the Colts are on the other end of the spectrum with PR overkill largely thanks to Polian the Impaler (or is it Bus Driver?), so maybe it’s just the stark contrast to the Colts’ controlled burns.

What exactly does Vic “do” that is unprofessional? Could you provide an actual example? He is the “senior editor” for a website. He talks on the radio. He has an “Ask Vic” column. Which part is bad?

by KeithG on Dec 16, 2010 10:09 AM EST up reply actions

Besides trash other cities, fanbases and players?

He’s a stand-up guy.

Basically, Vic is kept on a leash as far as how much he can dig into his own team/organization (clue: not much.) But he’s allowed to trash anyone outside of it. Remember that year he gave bulletin board material to the Pats? Yeah, other teams don’t have guys who do that.

Writer for Stampede Blue.

by Collin McCollough on Dec 16, 2010 11:55 AM EST up reply actions

I still don't get it

If you listen to his radio shows (clearly you do not) he trashes any Jags player he doesn’t like often. He speaks his mind, and passed his opinions on (not the organization’s). What’s not to like about that? You’d prefer it if he truly wasn’t speaking his mind?

But, hey… since you don’t like the guy, you should just be grateful you don’t have to deal with him. I like him just fine.

by KeithG on Dec 16, 2010 12:24 PM EST up reply actions

It's a matter of professionalism...

Again, there’s a reason that no other team (I know of) employs a guy like Vic. It’s entirely unprofessional. It looks bad on the organization. It’s not as much a slight against Vic himself (although he’s basically a pull-string doll) as it is an indictment of the Jags’ organization for employing a guy like Vic as a direct, paid representative of the franchise in the first place.

Not comparing him to PR guys

I’m saying other teams are conscious of their image and what they’re putting out there. Jags just don’t really seem to care that this guy is representative of their larger organization and, as an employee of the Jaguars, represents them by trashing other players/cities/fans. No other teams have that kind of employee, to my knowledge (but feel free to prove me wrong; I honestly don’t have enough time to look at all 30 other team websites!)

I can forsee

this game being the most frustrating and disappointing of the season. You know, one of those games that the d gets run over, there’s some interception or turnover, and while we play well and put up points, we are inevitably doomed to fall just short (see, the Superbowl, Jags game this year, any SD game, to a lesser extent the Dallas game.) But I guess that’s what makes the game (and winning) fun and meaningful. I think if we get Collie back, don’t turn the ball over more than once, and can get off the field on a few third downs we can win.

Go Colts.

And hate Josh Scobee with a passion. But it’s nothing compared to my hatred of the Pats. Belichick, Rodney Harrison, Teddy Bruschi, Wes Welker, that amazing offensive line, and most of all Brady. To be honest I enjoyed watching Moss play even if he was a whiny douche. He’s kind of like Favre. I hate him off the field with all the constant drama and waffling but I love watching him play b/c you never know if you’re about to see something amazing. And Pats’ fans please know this: while I may hate Belichick, I still think he’s up there with Bill Walsh, Vince Lombardi, Tom Landry, Don Shula, and Paul Brown as far as the coaching greats go. I also respect what Brady has accomplished in his career and even though I dislike him, I am also not dumb enough to say that he isn’t a First-Ballot Hall of Famer. I just think Manning is better and don’t really think that they compare when you look at their INDIVIDUAL accomplishments. Now if you want to say that the Patriots were a better team during Brady’s career than the Colts were with Manning, that I can agree with.

Curious ramblings

You dislike the Jags but, you hate the Patriots – seems to me that a division rival would foster much more distain than one that is not. Patriots fans hate the Jets, a division rival and with their blowhard head coach, they’re real easy to hate these days. Don’t misunderstand, Pats fans certainly don’t like the Colts but, there is real respect mixed in with the hate. Not so with the Jets, albeit some of the Jets hate may be fallout from the Sox Yankees hate.

The two QB’s (Manning/Brady) are both pretty darn good – we won’t be able to offer a truly fair assessment of their accomplishments until their careers come to an end. Right now, Brady’s got more of the hardware that really counts with the high probability that more is on the way. Colt fans will always think Manning is better even though he doesn’t get it done on the field like Brady. If the Brady/Belichick tandem goes on to collect a total of five Super Bowl trophies – Indy fans will continue to think that Manning is better.

Brady has had a better coach

Which makes a big differnece , he has been better than all of the Colt coaches( no offense to Dungy who was very good) Brady has had and a little help, everyone and their brother who knows anything about football knows that was a fumble in the Oakland game , Tuck rule gave them Superbowl #1,, and and 4 MVPs for manningwhich is an idividual award,, Always will hate the Pats more beciause down here I have a lot of friends who are Pats fans and they torment me and I torment them, and they think Manning is a pussy which is the farthest thing from the truthand always pisses me off,, the guy has taken many hard hits and never ( unlike Brady missed a game), and played one play after breaking his jaw against teh Phins,, I have never met one Jags fan down here in S FLA so am not exposed to them!!

Tough guys

Manning’s no pussy but, it’s hard to fault Brady for missing a season due to torn ACL & MCL tendons – are we to believe that Manning would not have gone out which such injuries ?? I’d say both Manning & Brady are able to take a beating and keep getting back up.

You guys take this way too seriously

I always respect the other 31 teams of the NFL. I not like all of them (for example Titans; Cowboys are not belong to my favouriteteam to say the least) but I never hate other teams. I have a hughe respect for the Colts; and if the Jaguars manage to win on Sunday I’ll not laugh and mock the Colts (and their great fanbase) about it.

So my messege is this: don’t hate guys.

A Note On Commenting On Commenting On Stampede Blue

Closed comments? Really?

I get that libel is illegal, and truly desultory comments upon writers of SB posts are legitimately subject to the banhammer, unless you misspoke on your recent speech-freedom-hating, you may want to reconsider your stance on comment censorship.

“In general, if you don’t like an article, stop reading it and go do something else” seems aimed more at regulating who is allowed to engage in the community than fostering open communication and discourse over potentially controversial ideas.

In short: Legally, you are allowed to ban/censor anyone you damn well please, but, as the gatekeeper to a community that many would like to see open for all, dropping the hammer on anyone with a too-divergent point of view seems short-sighted at best, and self-destructive at worst.

I have no hate

And I truly have respect for conduct policies on open forums such as this.

However, I first came here by way of BleedCubbieBlue, the Chicago Cubs cousin to this blog. Rarely have I seen any sort of comment-hate towards the administrator (Al Yellon, the awesomest guy I have never met.)

As such, BBS may want to consider why he is on the wrong end of endless forum hate instead of feebly reiterating that contrary points of view are ban-worthy.

P.S. Again, I have no problem w/ ban-hammers preventing stupid flamewars.

P.P.S. I don’t know who BAGGER 288 is, but I hope he’s suitably scary.

i hate the jags and thats no secret. del rio is king thug and his cocky demeanor of throwing other people under the bus is disgusting. liplicker. he has that smart a$$ laugh/grin when he gets away with something on the sidelines and his team takes look of him. always laughing. win or lose always laughing. that bugs the crap out of me. garrard. always laughing on the sidelines. get your a$$es whooped lets laugh about it.

when mike smith (their orginal d coordinator) left all these bandwagon fans here… (yes i live in jax beach so i know exactly whats going on from the wayne the snake weaver buying from up to 2000 tickets to boselli going door to door giving away tickets to businesses for tax write offs weekly, not even the first tebow fest game was sold out. none of them were sold out. that perception of no blackouts is a joke and if they blow the division and dont make the playoffs next year wayne the snake weaver will NOT bale this team out. these bandwagon fans pretending the snake isnt buying these tickets and people of jax and the public media doesnt know….OH THEY KNOW)…was called a puppet for orchestrating a great defense. he leaves and the defense falls apart and we all know who the puppet is. its del rio. i would LOVE for atlanta to win the NFC just to show jax that puppet was more than a puppet. i will never forget this fanbase ripping on him when he left and laughing about it as not that big of a loss.

i hate most of the bandwagon fans who hide in a cave when they lose after load of trash talk through out a week. when the colts lose…did you watch the colts game. when the jags lose…not a word…NOT A WORD of a game even been played.

this city is the worst nfl ever. you would have NO clue an nfl team existed and yet jack del rio acts like this team is all that. piping in noise?? how dare him. how about shipping in fans?

i simply cant stand MJD and his cocky girations after each and every TD. when other players around the league get flagged for it he gets a free pass. honestly he looks like a nancy when he gets done with his showboating of disgust.

i also cant stand mike sims walker and his thugness of acting like regme williams after every catch like he just set a record. fumble hands would be a 3rd reciever on any other team.

garrard and his pimp post game. thats is why people hate the jags. his dump passes to MJD and whiney…i dont get a flag like peyton…but wait…somebody look at me, i just completed a 5 yard dump pass who ran 70 yards, thump thump thump the chest self. if we win im wearing my fedora, if we lose i will pretend im injured. wheres those crutches, oops its my wrist thats hurt…

and most definitely r. mathis and his holding of our recievers

and dont forget, yes…a$$ vicky as we call him here. we send questions to him weekly and the little punk never answers us. when they are getting hammered his little game blog suddenly goes down. when they win oh baby we are superior!

for a team who has won NOTHING and acts like they have as many rings as the steelers, thats why I hate this team. every year i ask…why is indy in the south and i would rather listen to jets, pats and dolphins fans in the division we SHOULD BE in and this team would have moved a long time ago if indy wasnt their game of the year or in their division, thats how bad i hate them. to have to listen every week the trash talk even after committing 6 turnovers and still winning this teams bandwagon fanbase is mostly turdlike.

how del rio is still coaching is beyond me. this team will eventually leave because luck eventually runs out. you cant use the $$ from the neverfull stadium sponser to buy out tickets season after season. and when this team leaves it will be a parade like atmosphere in my neighborhood.

i hate the jags because all they care about is one opponent who they are 4-13 lifetime. or is it 5? for such a crappy record youd think they would be just a little less cocky. ive never seen a teams fanbase who have no clue who they play weekly but still think they are head and shoulders better than a team who has won their division nearly every year this division has existed. cocky is an understatement. hiding is the result. and when its time to play the colts…it starts all over again.

Jags

will prob be in LA in 1-2 yrs!!!!!

by OBGYNOSUPREME on Dec 16, 2010 10:20 AM EST up reply actions

Gotta hate division opponents

Winning your division is a guaranteed playoff home game, so you have to hate the other three teams gunning for that spot. I hate the Texans more because I live in Texas and have to deal with most of those guys personally. All the “Texans gonna smash the Colts this year bro!” talk I hear from them is hilarious. I only know two Jags fans personally, one is a clerk at Walgreens where I go to buy cigarettes and he’s an older guy in his late 40s, but he’s always giving me shit because most of the time I wear a Colts hat when I go out. The other one is a guy I go to college with and he’s always down to talk football with me so I respect that. We hate it when our teams play each other because the rest of the time we agree on most things, just not for those two certain weeks each season.

As far as the Jags team goes I give them respect for showing up to play against us. I would rather watch the Colts win a competitive game than blow someone out, because you’re much more proud of your team when they find a way to win rather than just roll over some team. I’d love nothing more for MJD to get stuffed and have a bad game this week, mainly because I’m in the FF playoffs of my league and my opponent has him on his team. But I’d rather get KOd of the FF playoffs than have the Colts get KOd of the real playoffs, so let’s go do the damn thang Colts!

It wouldnt surprise me..

Dallas is in the NFC East. However if the Jags Went to LA, we would trade them for KC.
The only thing that makes me think they wouldn’t is as bad as the numbers they get in Jax there are, too many distractions in LA for them to think the Fanbase of support would be there.

Hey Look!

A Jags fan on Big Cat Country replied. The capitalization, grammar and general syntax is not all there, but it’s a reply nonetheless.

Besides the fact I think he missed my not-so-subtle point (that even Jags.com forum members seemed to get, FBT excluded) that I actually respect the hell out of the Jaguars because they play the Colts so damn well, he also dropped the dreaded “haha, you’ve only won ONE Super Bowl” argument.

The absurdity of a Jacksonville fan dropping that line is baffling. Maybe a Patriots or Steelers fan gets away with it. But a Jaguars fan? Really?

the COLTS are dead

Having read the above diatribe, and anti-Jaguar hate, all i can say is this:

YOUR ENTIRE CONCEPT IS WRONG..

THE COLTS HAVE “NO CONTROL” OVER THEIR FATE…

The fact is that the Colts time is over..

Whether the Colts play well, or suck, either way, the Jaguars are going to DEFEAT THE COLTS…

You “WHINE” about how you claim that the Jaguars “whine” about RESPECT….

In doing so, YOU MAKE OUR POINT….

Every time we wipe the floor with the Colts, RATHER THAN STEP UP AND BE “MAN” ENOUGH TO STATE THAT WE DEFEATED YOU, Colts fans instead WHINE and claim that the “Colts defeated themselves, rather than being defeated by the Jaguars.”….!!!!!

YOU TRY TO CHEAT US OUT OF OUR VICTORY…!!!!

YOU DO THIS TIME AFTER TIME…!!!!!

COLTS FANS JUST CAN’T ADMIT TO BEING A LOSER…!!!!!

Well, this Sunday, that point is going to be made ABUNDANTLY CLEAR….

The Jags will win, the Colts will lose, and as usual, rather than admit that WE WHIPPED YOU, you will claim it was ALL YOU, and NOT US…

Well, we are used to the Colts being jerks,

so,

GO AHEAD, TAKE YOUR BALL AND GO BACK TO YOUR LOCKER ROOM AND CRY…

I don’t “PIPE” it in like the COLTS do……………
