I'm playing against Peyton Manning and Reggie Wayne this week. I'm in big trouble.

Talk about your Fantasy Playoff matchups. Who else do you see having big weeks?

Personally, I think Collie back in the lineup will open up opportunities for Tamme and think Collie will be a big factor given he had 60 yds in a quarter and a bit against the during which he was taken in and out and ultimately left the game. Other matchups which are worth noting are McFadden against the Broncos who he lit up last time they met. McCoy against the Giants has potential given Vick will be contained/getting bruised by the Giants so he will be forced to checkdown to McCoy who is fast…

My sleeper

My sleeper pick for this week is Dominic Rhodes.

As far as wideouts, Pierre Garcon will continue to shine, IMO.

I've got Peyton, Collie, and Tamme in my lineup this week

I was really hopping Addai would be back too. I’m starting to lose faith that he’ll be back at all this season.

Heh,

I’ve got Collie, Garçon, Tamme and Vinatieri in my team.

Two WRs from the same team

Is usually the kiss of death. Hopefully you’re not starting both of them every week. I had Collie earlier this year but traded him and Kyle Orton for Reggie earlier this year. My other QB is Vick so I haven’t regretted the trade one bit.

What the hell

I traded DeSean for Collie (dumb, I know) and I want to use the Stormin’ Mormon at least once.
However, Garçon is on a huge moment and considering this will be a game with lots of points, I think using both Pierre and Austin is not a bad idea. But, I still have Calvin Johnson and Marques Colston in my team. Probably I will bench Garçon.
Tamme is, I believe a must start. My other TE is Cooley, but I don’t trust Sexy Rexy.

Oh and this would be the first time I start Garçon and Collie together.

And first time I bench Calvin Johnson. My third WR would be Welker.

Hate to say it...

but Maurice Jones Drew is in line for a big day. His backup, Jennings, might even be worth a flex if you’re desperate.

Any Colts receiver is a must start. Except White. :(

New England D is a must start with a QB making his first ever start on the road with no running game.

Browns D is worth a start going against a beaten down Bengals team and Palmer becoming almost Delhommeian in the turnover department.

Agree about McFadden. He should dominate the Broncos again.

I'm already out of the playoffs

I played against Darren McFadden and Mojo last week. Nuff said

I thought it was just about the Colts

I thought this thread was only about Colts FF projections. Otherwise, we can talk about the whole FF world :-).

Btw, I started VJax yesterday and was rewarded well. I feel good with a line up of Wayne, VJax, MJD, Arian Foster, and BenJarvis Green Ellis (Flex) for my WRs/RBs.

My team’s weakness is QB – I managed to get Kerry Collins playing against Texans this weekend and I have Orton for my final playoff week against Texans on the bench. For a D, I have the Pitt. D playing and Bears D on the bench.

FF is all about matchups, and even if you get the matchup right, it finally boils down to a lot of of luck in the end as far as production is concerned.

Agree re: Matchups

I pretty much had my division wrapped up in Week 10, so I set myself up for these two weeks. I also have Orton at QB, but thankfully backfilled myself with Josh Freeman, who gets the Lions and Seahawks, both at home.

I just need to survive this week. Darren McFadden should help, as should DeSean Jackson and (god help us all) Marcedes Lewis.

I was hoping

that in the Stampede Blue league I (Da Beers) would have a matchup with you this week! Good luck in your other league(s), Matt!

This site blows

Seriously? The Friday before quite possibly the biggest regular season game in the Colts history and this is what we have to read. Useless fantasy football crap. I’ve been over on BIGCATCOUNTRY a few times this week and they keep putting out new articles about the game this weekend. On this site the writers are either writing about how Polian has screwed up the past few drafts or nothing at all.

by Garland on Dec 17, 2010 5:03 PM EST reply actions

Actually this site is great

Perhaps you need to visit this site more often to realize why there is minimal content. Everyone is fully aware of what this game means but there is minimal content to be discussed as emphasized by the writers. Be fully aware of the situation before criticizing the hard work that is put in each and every day on this site. More content will not equate in a victory, however, if you are of this belief you might as well become a fan of the Jags. At a time like this I think it rehabilitating to keep the stress of Sunday off as much as possible because I certainly know that it is driving me nuts…be respectful of the people that commit their time to put together the best colts blog around.

I come to this site everyday

And most of the time at least 5 or 6 times a day. And it is hard to believe there is nothing to write about with the type of season we are having. There is plenty to write about its just that unless it involves talking about how poor of a job Bill Polian is doing the writers don’t want to talk about it. And who are you to tell someone to be resepctful when the writers aren’t even respectful to the people commenting on their blog. Rehabilitating to keep the stress of sunday off as much as possible? That is the most ridiculous think I have ever heard. No one really cares how this guys fantasy football team is doing and who he is starting this week. This is a blog for Colts news right? And yes I know writing about the game will not make us when the game. And as far the best Colts blog around I would say otherwise. Coltzilla and 18to88 are far beter sites that limit their bashing of the team to a minimum.

Garcon

is hot and just read in the Indy Star where he runs the route tree now with Peyton as the article said he is only the 3rd receiver to do this ,, only Marvin and Reggie and now him and he has been coming on, they wouldnt admit it but doing that and getting healthy has helped him!!!!

No

I want to crush the Jaguars at full strength. Demoralize them, and teach them a lesson: Don’t F*** WIT DA COLTS.

by icedude on Dec 18, 2010 4:04 PM EST up reply actions

That would be sweet.

But it would be even better if Mathis and Freeney sack the crap out of that piece of garbage.
