Help me out
I'm a little confused on how this works. If a player is out on IR during the regular season can he become active for the postseason? Can Bob Sanders, Austin Colie, Anthony Gonzalez become active if we make it to the playoffs? If the Colts lose and Jacksonville wins will we be knocked out of playoffs? How bad is Jerraud Powers fore arm injury? I am thinking positive about the postseason! The year we won the Super Bowl we were a wild card! I hate 1st round byes!

Once you are on IR
You are done for the entirety of the NFL Season..including Post Season…none of these guys are eligible to come back until next year.

YEP DONE!!!!!!!!!!
Mismanagement of the roster might hurt this team in the long run. Although I am not a big big fan of the often hurt A. Gonzales, putting him on IR so quickly for a bruised knee or what not hurt this team. I like Blair White and I think he is plenty fast, but at this point in his development he isn’t “playing” as fast as he needs to play for the offensive to be as effective as it was with Collie. So “it is what it is” They should win this Sunday and if the running game continues to play well that will open up the play action pass a little more, thus helping White and the others get open a little more easily.
Answering your other question
Yes, if Indy loses and Jax wins, the Jags are IN and the Colts are OUT of the playoffs. I don’t think either of those things will happen, though.

Just. This. Incredible.
As people have mentioned already...
being IR makes you ineligible for the remainder of the season’s games, including playoffs.
One small tid-bit though….the Colts were NOT a wild-card in 2006 when they won the superbowl. They were the #3 seed. The Colts hosted the AFCCG after #4 seeded New England defeated #1 seeded San Diego (after the Colts defeated #2 seeded Baltimore of course)
