Hate to pile on, but I'm hearIng #Colts CB Jerraud Powers has serious arm injury. If so, he's likely done for year.
Phil B reporting that Powers, like his team, may be done for the year.

Are we the most injuried team in the history of the NFL? Not sure anyone keeps that stat but we have to be for sure!

too bad we're still stuck in our cover 2 d,
cause at the rate we’re losing games, patrick peterson might be falling to us in the draft. kick/punt returner problem is solved, and we’ve got a lockdown corner.
too bad, too bad.
A returner makes no difference
if he has no one to block for him and guess what? The Colts special teams blocking sucks.
Try to kick me while I'm down...I'll break your leg

you'd be surprised
what holes open up, merely because you’ve got a returner that runs a 4.3 and knows how to run vertically. not to mention he doesnt hesitate and lose all of his momentum as soon as he catches the ball.
Who Cares!!!
So what, this team is done for the season as well..

Starting to wonder if they'll ever be healthy...
They haven’t been healthy since 2005. 2006-2009 they were just healthy enough to get by, but by no means completely healthy. Off the top of my head, 2006 they lost Simon, Stokley and Sanders for most of the season. 2007 they lost Booger, Freeney, Harrison and Rob Morris. 2008 they lost Lilja, Sanders, Hagler and Manning played hurt to start the season. 2009 they lost Jackson, Gonzo, Sanders, Hagler and Vinatieri. I’m sure there were more but I only remember the headline players of those years off the top of my head.

what is up with the injuries? We need a new strenghth and conditioning staff and we need to hire Gruden.

I know they have good people
but would not hurt to check out all possiblities cause according to a good study by one of the other blogs Colts have the most missed games from injuries over the past 5 yrs

nfl drug policy...
Are NFL players allowed to play under the influence of painkillers?
Colts
what we really need is a serious threat on the outside to compliment Reggie. we won a superbowl six years ago and seems as if we dont want another. lets draft a quality wide receiver and cornerback next draft thats taller than 5’11 and weighs more than 165 lbs soaking wet.
Might want to solidify your O-line first
Did ok in 09 with Wayne, Addai and some (then) no-names

The Colts did reach SB XLIV
or has that game been wiped from your memories? (That’s ok, Pats fans have also wiped a SB from their past)
I seem to recall the O-line being blamed for all your problems very late last season and so far this season. The other teams that have done well this decade (Pats, Steelers, Ravens) have stocked up on the big guys up front. A likely Hall-of-Fame left tackle helped the Dolphins go from 1-15 to 11-5 and division winners.

add the Saints to that list as well
everyone talks about them winning because they decided to quit throwing the ball 50 times a game and become more balanced on offense…but really that was just a result of them finally having an O-Line.
they focused on getting big bodies up front and the results speak for themselves.
seasons are won and lost in the trenches….polian seemed to know that after the super bowl…some combination of ignorance/arrogance/bad luck kept that from getting corrected.
Jerraud Powers
Got on Xbox Live last night, so if he can play madden with his injury, surely he can play this week :)
