We need something new.. we need a Back2Back SB

Guys.... right now i feel soooo sad and mad.. as diehard fan i had nightmares about sunday game.... the half of the nation hate us.. and soy loud that Manning is a Choke and our team, is a soft team.... Sooo could we do something to emerge like Denver Broncos(b2b 97,98).. and i think that this year was so great (develeopment terms) for guys like garcon, collie, powers, devan and lacey... so i think that the next year with sanders(healthy please) and freeney(healthy tooo) we can have a elitte defense and the best wr corps in the entire league.. whate we neeed..???

FREEDOM TO PEYTON... Let he goes for 16-0(if happens again)... LET PEYTON G AGREESIVE(Do not hold like end the second quarter)... MOORE or new Coach to figure out.. something amazing.. we have gerat guy.. make some spectacular with those guys.. go for season with 40 air td and 20 rush td.. someting like this... give to much to think to the defensive coordinators.. the alredy know that everything is wih peyton. and he is still ever, so the problem is that is too hard leave the entire game in his arms.. this is a team.. 3 phasesss.. so wee need FULL RUSH TEAM and KR and PR...

POLLIAN GO FOR ARENAS AND CRIBS... give Peytona better position to begin our Drives... Give to much to think to te teams...

COLTS ORGANIZATION NEED A BACK 2 BACK SUPERBOWL....

MANNING LEGACY NEED BACK 2 BACK SB MVP....

COLTS FANS NEES BOTH.... AND WIN THE 2ND SUPERBOWL IN THE TOWN(2012)...

PEYTON PLEASEEE.. FIND THE WAY TO SHOW US SOMETHING NEW AND AMZING LIKE 2004... EVERYBODY NEED IT.. AND IF YOU CAN.. 19-0 COULD BE THE BEST EVER...

CHOKE JOB

Well, Peyton blew the game along with his legacy. He would have been crowned the best ever but he turned into the old peyton. He became the same guy who was 0-3 in his high school state championship game, the choke job who couldn’t beat Florida while at Tennessee. Now he is the guy who when it was all on the line threw the biggest pick 6 in superbowl history. It was all there for the taking and HE blew it. He is surrounded by a soft team who counts on him to do to much.

It is safe to say that next year will be the colts last chacne to win because with a work stoppage looming in 2011 Peyton will be to old and even more like Bret Farve.

Peyton Manning...

…Cannot:

1. Catch his own passes (well…technically he COULD…but you’re ignorant if you argue this..)
2. Rush the QB
3. Play special teams
4. Cover opposing WRs

Gosh, #18 TOTALLY blew it…actually, your “argument” is about as sound as your ability to spell the word “chance.”

by The Learned Hand on Feb 11, 2010 2:02 PM EST up reply actions

God...

I hope English is your second language.
And on the subject of your “post”: Yes. You are absolutely correct. We do need to win 2 B2B SB’s, but why stop there? Why not 3 or 4? Hell, make it 20! While we’re at it why don’t we ask Santa Claus to bring us all ponies and Ferraris for X-mas next year!
What you’re saying is akin to me saying, “What we need to do to win games is to go out there and win them.” DUH.

forget the Ferrari...

All I want is a van with four decent tires that will pass inspection by the end of the month and to never have to deal with or pay for a broken head gasket again. Pleeeeeeze?

NO!

Now Marima will think that she’s welcome over here, LB. How dare you!

You need to take back that thank you quickly.

Substitute the blown tires for 3 out of 4 bald ones (but you have to get the 4th one anyway, right?) and you’re dead on.

My dream scenario

would be for Manning to reclaim his TD record and forthe Colts to finish 19-0. Hopefully management will let them try of they get the chance.

Hope you're wrong

Of course we might have a healthy Bob Sanders for an entire season... when we play Madden

by trOOly on Feb 14, 2010 3:22 PM EST up reply actions

I believe in my heart that I'm not

Polian and Caldwell stated all season long that going 16-0 was not a priority, and Polian has deep experience pointing him in that direction to allow players to recover from a long season and not get injured in meaningless games. In my mind, the approach was vindicated by the fact that we got to the Super Bowl, and frankly it was reinforced by the ankle injury Freeney suffered in the AFCCG. Polian and Caldwell will make the exact same decision next year if given the opportunity, and I’ll be behind it again 1000%

How can you not love a team that does this?

by LovinBlue on Feb 14, 2010 3:30 PM EST up reply actions

My hope

is that the last game being in Buffalo played a large part in Caldwell’s decision not to go for it. Maybe if the last couple of games turn out to be home or warm weather games? I mean it seemed like there was considerable negative reaction from the players, so I would hope Caldwell reconsiders (I doubt Polian would ever reconsider but maybe Caldwell can supersede his decision). Yeah there’s a lot of hoping in my post.

With other backup guys could be different..

Imagine sorgi playing the 3rd and 4th quarter for 16 & 17 week.. with other backups that this season were starters.. so i think that could be possibleee.!!!

by Amilcar on Feb 14, 2010 9:57 PM EST up reply actions

Absolutely agree!!

I totally believe the approach to rest starters “should not” mean we will definitely lose the game like this year. Other backups may be able to get the win. Just like the 72 Dolphins. They actually have their starting QB hurt for a great part of the season and the backups are still winning. This should be the best! If Sorgi had played the last 2 games, there would be a chance at least to get a win.

by Manning4ever on Feb 21, 2010 7:56 PM EST up reply actions

The only way it would happen

is if Sorgi can win a game.

with the backups

… Painter might have been able to do better with the 1st team, but when you keep out as many as were out of the game, well…

How can you not love a team that does this?

by LovinBlue on Feb 14, 2010 9:45 PM EST up reply actions

I already think so...

I think that this year the team will win with more blowouts and caldweel will give more chance to play to sorgi and other backups..

So if we have the chance to get 16-0 … maybe could be possible…

by Amilcar on Feb 14, 2010 9:59 PM EST up reply actions

51 TD & Perfect Season... Sounds Perfect....!!!

But could be more perfect with a Superbowl win vs NO. =)

by Amilcar on Feb 14, 2010 10:01 PM EST up reply actions

Meh.

While I would love, love, love 51 TDs for Peyton and an undefeated, I’d also like to see NO miss the playoffs entirely. heh heh heh

by LovinBlue on Feb 16, 2010 6:14 PM EST up reply actions

YEP!

Regardless of how they win the SB and how much the CITY and the PEOPLE have suffered, I still wish the Saints team not make the playoffs next year. They are totally classless and whereas I know we got the INT and dropped passes at the end, their team is classless….. and did look like thugs. They know they cannot win the regular way so they have to go bonanza on tricks and strategies.

by Manning4ever on Feb 21, 2010 7:58 PM EST up reply actions

Ahhhhh

1. Need to win one Super Bowl before you can win back-to-back
2. Can everyone please stop saying that Peyton is going to win 5 Lombardi’s? This team only has 1 SB and 1 SB runner up in 12 years….VERY unlikely that the Colts win more than 1 more SB before #18 retires (although I would love it if they did).
3. The Colts are never going 19-0. In fact, I hope they don’t even go 9-0 to start the season again just so we can forget how Polian approaches the end of season scenarios with home-field clinched.

I don't always drink beer....but when I do, I prefer Dos Equis.

by AceOfSpades on Feb 15, 2010 6:13 PM EST reply actions

You hope they don't go 9-0?

See, I can’t hope for that because I would then have to hope for the Colts to lose a game, which I can’t do.

I was amazingly ok just a few days after the game

We didn’t lose it because of the refs, and we didn’t lose it in a total blowout. We also didn’t lose any game to the Patriots. So that makes a lot of it better, LOL.
