Looks like someone has been reading the news lately...
Polian's bashing his own team, like he did when he was in Buffalo. Well, he's been complaining in an interview published at Colts.com about everything we've pointed out as a major problem at the big game: Special team. I disagree about our OL playing badly this game, but throughly the season it has stucked in protecting Manning. And how couldn't he complain about our Defense at all?

Agreed
About ST, but no hate for the D? Those guys let the Aints score at will.

Meh
24 points given up with one in perfect field position after the on-side kick. The Saints offense is really good. Anyways Tim Jennings and Kelvin Hayden should be getting most of the blame there.

How
Do you defend all those underneath passes? The Saints borrowed a page from the dink-dunk Pats playbook and killed our Cover-2 D. Too bad Coyer didn’t make any adjustments to stop the bleeding, but it wouldn’t have helped either cause then Brees would’ve burned them with bombs.

Yeah I don't like this that much either
We should live and die as a team to the public, with the admission of weaknesses contained behind closed doors. I especially don’t like that he essentially telegraphs what he might do to shore up in the offseason. Even though any two-bit analyst can identify the weaknesses, he has traditionally been untraditional in his drafting (Brown? Powers? Painter?!?!).
I am more convinced than ever that Polian needs a better Public Relations staff OR needs to actually follow that staff’s advice.
How can you not love a team that does this?
In 2005 he went out and said we needed to get more physical in the secondary
Boom! Hello Marlin and Kelvin.
I don’t mind.

Yeah, it's a great job until that point." - Jim Sorgi
