The speculation is that all the quality OT prospects will be off the board by the time we draft at #31.  This has led some people to suggest trading up (probably a 1st and 3rd) in order to grab our future LT.  Well, then let me pose this scenario... if we are willing to offer a 1 and a 3 to get a franchise LT, why not grab one of the RFAs out there on the market?  Jared Gaither, Jammal Brown and Marcus McNeill will all be RFAs this offseason.  They are all likely to receive a high tender, but is it worth it to go after them anyway?  I think I would rather give up a 1 & 3 for someone like Gaither who is only 24 and already proven his mettle in the NFL.  Thoughts?
