The Colts will win because...

Seven reasons the Colts will beat the Saints and earn Indianapolis's second Super Bowl title:

Star-divide

1. The Colts have Peyton Manning.

2. The Colts lead the league in having more points than the opposing team after sixty minutes.

3. The Colts have Peyton Manning.

4. In the NFC playoffs this year, the higher seeded team has won every game. In the AFC playoffs this year, the lower-seeded team won every game- except when the Colts played. I call that a sign.

5. The Colts have Peyton Manning.

6. My prediction that there would be a Pierre Garcon FatHead came true.

7. The Colts have Peyton Manning.

And here's the kicker: Matt Stover. "What about him?" you might ask. Well, nothing. He's the kicker. Just in case you didn't know.

Another reason for the Colts to win,

They haven’t lost a meanful game since the Chargers playoff game last season. Plus Peyton has an aura of invincibility, which gives us a psychological advantage.

Just thought of another reason,

Drew Brees is on the cover of Sports Illustrated this week. That’s a jinx. I swear it’s true.

Wasn't Peyton on the cover of SI

when we played the Pats?

/Karma’dJinx’D etc etc out.

by diagenesis on Feb 4, 2010 2:46 PM EST up reply actions

Maybe...

but Drew Brees is just a football player, like all the other football players who’ve been jinxed by being on the cover.

Peyton, on the other hand, is… well… Peyton.

Peyton = Football god

Drew Brees = Mere mortal

That cover came out Nov. 16th. We played the Pats on the 15th.

Jinx true.

Ah the SI jinx didn't hold water with Reggie Bush

Then there is that Colts led league most points after 60 mins. Manning didn’t play the Saints yet. That stat is about to be squashed ! LOL Not haten here. Just say’n. Ready for some Saints/Colts football ? GEAUX SAINTS

by saints-fan-in-miss on Feb 5, 2010 4:26 PM EST up reply actions

I still think Reggie Bush's success this season

is a fluke. I’m not hatin’ on the Saints here, I just don’t like him because he played at $C. ;-)

Say Peyton Manning's name five times fast.

I just did and I creamed my pants.

Curt Warner, the Seahawks Running back?

Very old reference there, I barely remember him.

And I wonder why you support a dirty tactic like that? Whatever dude.

Not quite

You’re a bit insensitive yourself, but there’s no need to get into that again.

Suffice it to say, every fanbase has its fair share of ’tards.
