Luke Links: The "Back in the Saddle" Edition

Welcome to my first foray into posting Luke Links! My plan is to post these twice a week, probably Tuesdays and Thursdays. Following an idea I picked up from Pats Pulpit (many thanks to Marima for her assistance), I will post links in three categories - those coming from official team releases, those coming from other sources and that praise or rip on our team, and a few covering news from other teams (at least 1 from each of the other AFC South teams).
During the pre-season, regular season, and - hopefully - the playoffs, I will include a fourth section with links to views from the upcoming opponent and their beat writers.
This first post has a few older links in it, just to catch up on news while we made the transition. Please feel free to email me with any requests or recommendations.

I was hoping for these Links as I mentioned at an earlier time I thought they would be a good idea.

I would buy a Jets LT jersey
For my little brother. Maybe green and white fits better on LT
So we're turning into Atlanta Braves of NFL? My head says "no", but who knows?
And the weather is indeed SWEET!
Awesome, LB!

Hopefully we put those weekly rankings you put together last season on the front page as well since everyone seems to like them.

Gee... thanks for the sunny San Diego update
We got 3 inches of rain here yesterday alone and it’s been downpouring a sideways rain since Friday. Nothing like waking up to a cold, dark, rainy Monday. Ugh. A nice east coast welcome to the month of March for LaDainian “I’m a classy guy” Tomlinson.
Keep the faith!
lol - dark, gloomy welcome
It’s 80 degrees here right now. heh heh heh
There had been a rumor a week or so ago that LdT had signed with the Pats. I shared this information with my son and gave him a heart attack (he LOVES Tomlinson and HATES the Pats)…he hasn’t spoken to me in over a week now. lol A little mom story I thought I’d share with ya.

I guess you can't help who you fall in love with.

I like your style
Gotta mess with their heads on occasion and keep ’em guessing, and besides, we moms have to have some fun once in a while.
Keep the faith!
I bet he fits well at the Jets for you, huh?

Random fact of the week from the empty void that is my mind: Butler is going to go to the sweet 16. Whatever happens after that is anyone's guess.
I'm not worried about Tomlinson
The Pats have contained him in the past and I don’t doubt they’ll continue to do so this year.
He might have a problem with Shonn Green though, since Green imitated his TD pose after scoring against the Chargers in their home playoff loss to the Jets. Remember LdT got in such a snit when some Patriots imitated Merriman’s ‘Lights Out’ dance — the sole purpose of which is to be disrespectful to the opponent — a few years ago, so who knows how he’ll treat Green when he meets him in the offseason?
Keep the faith!
Did Powers even get a vote for DROY?
If he continues to improve, dude will be an All-Pro Cornerback really soon.
Y’all just do not fit the picture, turn your widescreen on

I don't think he did.

Congrats!
I love the links :-)
I have a feeling the Outside the Stable section will be full of absurdities. Just look at this week:
1. Yes, the Texans are still long shots to make the Super Bowl.
2. Garrard can have all the phone numbers in the world, and the Jags will still suck. Mostly because of Weaver and Del Rio.
3. Kuharsky still loves the Tacks. How could they not go better at CB? They STUNK last year. Oh and Vince will be their starter next year. That always makes me smile.
I love our division :-)

Hope to join you in the front page

Careful what you wish for... a government big enough to give you everything you want is a government big enough to take everything you have.
RE Hank Baskett
I already rued the day we signed him before Paul K. I still see that onside kick in my nightmares.

Good luck in Philly. Please stay there.

Nice stuff
With regards to Welker, with an ACL tear AND now a problem with his shoulder is there any way he’ll be back to his annoying self running 4 yard slants and outs? He’ll be 29 when the season starts, I hope this is a transition year for the Pats, they’ll probably drafting a WR in April.
