Bummer...

Loved him in the original Mission Impossible and, of course, Airplane.

Thanks for all the laughs, Peter. RIP.

Airplane.

Beyond awesome.

Random fact of the week from the empty void that is my mind: Butler is going to go to the sweet 16. Whatever happens after that is anyone's guess.

Cass, pretty sure you never saw it in a theater, but for us old folks....

I laughed hard enough to nearly wet my pants. I mean heaving so hard between laughing bouts that I missed vast chunks of dialogue. I was in HS when it came out and to my 17 year-old brain, it was instantly the funniest movie ever…. well, maybe except for Animal House. In the car home, friends and I had to repeat chunks of it because we all missed so much laughing.

Haven’t seen it in decades, but suspect it’ll stand the test of time for me.

I hate Joe Namath. That's how long I've been a Colts fan.

I was 10 with a 17-year-old brother

Somehow my Mom agreed to get the VHS and over the course of 5 years, I think we watched it two dozen times. I could probably recite most of the movie to this day.

My favorite scene by far: when Elaine is explaining to the natives that “This Seals-In-Rite container keeps hot dog buns fresh for days.”

How can you not love a team that does this?

haha... one of many great lines, for sure.

We have clearance, Clarence.
Roger, Roger. What’s our vector, Victor?
Huh?

Would you like something to read?
Do you have anything light?
How about this leaflet: ‘Famous Jewish Sports Legends?’

We’ve got to land as soon as we can. This woman has to be gotten to a hospital.
A hospital? What is it?
It’s a big building with patients. But that’s not important right now.

heh.. lots of great lines

Great lines!
