With the 4th Pick in the 2010 Stampede Blue Community Mock Draft, the Washington Redskins select...
Sam Bradford, QB - Oklahoma
Pick made by Colts Homer:
The Redskins need a quarterback. [Jason] Campbell is nice but he is not a franchise QB. [Owner] Dan Snyder loves big names, and only [Jimmy] Clausen and [Ndamukong] Suh can contend with Bradford as the biggest name in this draft. The Redskins are in full rebuilding mode, and they should start at quarterback. They are on a good start with a successful 2009 draft, but they need to take a QB here. Campbell could be traded to someone like Minnesota or Buffalo after the draft while Bradford can take over the reigns at QB.
If Bradford is taken #4 by the Redskins, it would be the highest QB taken in the first round by the Redskins since 1994, when they drafted Heath Shuler #3 overall. He will also be only the second Oklahoma QB drafted since 1947 (Josh Heupel in 2001), and the highest Oklahoma player taken since NT Tony Casillas was taken 2nd overall by the Falcons.

I still think the problem is the O-line and crappy receivers, not Jason Campbell
But knowing Dan Snyder, he probably won’t agree with me
I tend to agree.
Plus, he’s had like 5 or 6 OCs in his time there. Who could succeed with that?

jason campbell
I agree with both comments on Campbell, especially the ocs he’s had. The thing is I don’t see them passing up a qb in this spot and I like Bradford of the two. Clausen has been in the pro system ect ect, but he is an immature ass with too many Ryan Leaf like qualities to break the bank on.

Hm.
Good points. I also would prefer Bradford.

I agree
I don’t think Shanahan passes up a QB here. He’ll have to build a foundation for the future, why not bring in a QB of your choice to build around?
Oh, yeah, and round two get a damn receiver.
