Kevin Curtis ?
Won't It be ironic if the colts pick up Curtis. I mean trading a bad WR for a OK one. I mean he will be there to provide depth. Meaning he will be low enough that if he goes down with injury he does not effect the team but if we loose a top receiver he is a good back up. We would be able to pick him up cause his history could scare teams away so that the colts could aquire him at a good price

The Colts
don’t need WR or depth at WR. There are positions of need to be filled. WR is not one of those.
Our heads may be bloody, but they are unbowed. We will be back next year better than ever!
Indianapolis Colts News and Updates
Agreed.
That’s the last thing we need. I want to see a great big guy who can muscle us out of 3rd and short situations.

That's one of the positions we seem to be set at.

Random fact of the week from the empty void that is my mind: Butler is going to go to the sweet 16. Whatever happens after that is anyone's guess.
Even if they got him for free, he'd be the 5th best guy on the roster already
Insert Clever Statement Here
I think we like our young developing guys enough to count on as 5th/6th options.
We will probably take some rookies in for TC fodder though.
"It's the greatest job in the world until Peyton comes off the field and you think his thumb might be broken and there's three minutes left in the AFC Championship Game and you're down by three to New England and you haven't taken a snap all year. Yeah, it's a great job until that point." - Jim Sorgi
I'm still hoping
Guns Guigerre and Roy Hall pan out.
Roy Hall?
Is it 2008? If he was gonna pan out he would have panned already. I dont see any panning in his future. Put him in the pan, fry him up and serve him. Hes done
As long as we have Peyton (and no surprise gay onside kicks are made) we will always have a chance to win.
he's never stayed healthy
if he actually makes it through camp and preseason healthy he could have a shot for that Baskett role on STs

I want to see Guns get another shot at returning in the preseason.

No thanks
the only Eagle I’m interested in is getting Marlin Jackson back. Oh and I’d take DeSean, too.
How can you not love a team that does this?
How about Hank Baskett?

Well, my car could use a new front bumper, and I bet Baskett fits perfectly.
duct tape him to the front and run into a few things just to make sure it’s safe (for me, that is). Plus, if neighborhood kids are playing ball and one hits the front of the car, it’s guaranteed that he won’t catch it so I won’t have to stop and give it back to the kids.
Conversely, if he DOES catch it, I’m sure 8 year-olds can pile on him and rip it out of his hands.
I hate Joe Namath. That's how long I've been a Colts fan.

Dudley Guice is the one we want to work out
He’s big (6’2" or 6’3") and fast.

You have to pick your ironic battles
Most of America now accepts the Alanis Morisette definition of irony – rain on your wedding day, winning the lottery and then dying. Unfortunate doesn’t = ironic.
Its like raiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiin on ur wedding day
It’s a free ride when you’ve already paid
It’s the good advice that you just didn’t take
Who would’ve thought…it figures

I don’t want to hear it, Cass.

You don't want to hear what?
I don’t know what you’re talking about.

It does!
Awesome. Thanks for letting me use your thread, guy.
Also, no Kevin Curtis please. We have enough white WRs, or at least WRs who look white (Gonzalez). Go for more offensive line projects if you must pick up random players, I say.

I get the point
I did not want other any way. I happy as it is besides by looking at the current roster the 5th position, if there is one, will be taken up by one of those guys
By the way,
who is this bad receiver the Colts are trading?

It wouldn't make sense
It doesn’t make sense for the Colts to pick up a WR. They already have a ton of good WR’s. And Polian hates the free agency. If he picks up anybody for free agency it will be some good offensive line player. Polian doesnt’ like to give up draft choices. And he prefers to develop players. And there is no real need to add another WR except for a backup and you reserve backups for the late stages of the draft. If they Colts picked up a free WR, they’d pick up one that had been let go that didn’t cost them a draft choice.
