Vladimir Ducasse, OT - Massachusetts

The Cardinals could use all the help they can get through this draft. Coming into this I thought that on offense, they might need another skill player BUT after further investigation (and some help from some of Stampede Blue's best) I came to the realization that a skill player list of Fitzgerald, Breaston, Doucet, Hightower, and Wells is more than enough firepower. Where the Cardinals could use some help is on the offensive line and that's where Vladimir Ducasse fits in. He's a LT (Levi Brown is the current LT) and is a great option for the future. He's a decent pass protector and a good enough run blocker to be an immediate help to the Cardinals offense

How will he impact the 2010 Cardinals?

The Cardinals gave up over 50 sacks over the past two seasons and while their running game is improving it's nowhere near the top of the league. Ducasse gives them another option on the line to improve their run blocking/pass protection. I think that 2010 will be more of a learning year for him and there will growing pains but the pay off will be worth it for the Cardinals!
