Worilds gives the Seahawks an edge rusher to fill the gaping void left by Patrick Kerney's retirement and trading away Darryl Tapp. Worilds, like Tapp gives the Seahawks the ability to show a 3-4 look, or go for a full on conversion to that defense. 6'1" 254lbs with great speed and athleticism Worilds is perfect for a 3-4 OLB or a Robert Mathis style DE in the 4-3. Worilds should be ready to contribute quickly thanks to his major college experience (2 time, 1st team All-ACC) and well developed set of pass rushing moves.

Worilds should see time as a situational rusher no matter which scheme Pete Carroll runs in Seattle and could push for starter type snaps quickly with a strong showing in run D (in a 4-3) or pass coverage skills (in a 3-4).
