Around SBN: Win or Lose, Boston Celtics' New Big 3 Era A Success

It seems as though "teh Favre" will require surgery on the ankle which was injured in the NFCCG if he chooses to play in 2010.

And in classic Favre style, he isn't sure what he's going to do.

Forgive me for posting, but I'm bored and couldn't resist.

I think one way or another he will be having the surgery.

He is seeking to demean everything Manning is set to achieve...

He inflates his stats with each passing season and while he is a good QB, he is making the accomplishments of the greats less so simply because of his longevity. Part of what makes a QB great is knowing when to throw in the towel.

I find him and his vacillating annoying.

However, he has shown that he can still play at a high, even elite level, and I can’t fault him for coming back while he still has some left in the tank.

It's pretty awesome.

Also, the only thing dead about dead week is my soul. If they disallowed hw it would be fantastic.

No, the best college invention ever is HVZ.

Favre is definitely playing this year.. I bet the ankle isn’t even an issue.. it’s an excuse to miss training camp… WUSS

I can't think of Favre

without wishing we had gotten him in the SB. Then we would have had the battle of the bad ankles and I think DFree would have won that battle.

How can you not love a team that does this?

Yup.

He would have thrown at least 2 interceptions before the half. (sigh)
