Jags ownership clearly not happy with David Garrard.

Please god let this happen
It would be pure perfection.
Just thinking Quinn might not be everyone's go-to guy...
OK, so you’re unhappy with Garrard. Let’s put aside that Garrard has had zero WR help for the past two years and had two rookie tackles and an injured center last year. Let’s pretend that IT IS Garrard’s fault the Jags are mediocre.
Would you look around the NFL and say, my God, Brady Quinn is the guy who can answer our problems? I think not.
I actually don’t think Gene Smith is stupid. This may be a leftover rumor from those Gator fans who think the Jags should have taken Tebow, and now that they think he’ll be taking Kyle Orton’s job that Quinn will be expendable. I don’t believe Smith—a confident enough evaluator of talent that he took a DT at #10 that most thought was at best a very low 1st rounder—could think Quinn is an upgrade over Garrard.
Hell, there are better alternatives than Quinn in the AFC South. The Titans would likely love to dump Kerry Collins and his salary, because plainly they’ve gone all-in on VY. Collins is a stop-gap, yes, but he’d be a damn sight better than Brady Quinn for at least the next year, and maybe longer.
Having said all this:
1. I actually think Quinn may eventually be able to play, it’s just that he’s not the answer for the Jags right now; and
2. Garrard is the third-best QB in the AFC South and is capable of decent production—his 2008 was a very good season. Impatience is no reason to replace a league-average or better QB with a guy who’s failed his first trial.
The fault, dear Brutus, lies not in the stars, but in ourselves.
I doubt this actually happens
At the very least it’s just the front office further lighting a flame under Garrard’s ass. If a deal goes down between the Jaguars and Broncos it would be the Jags shipping off Reggie Nelson in return for a DE/OLB.

We couldnt be so lucky for Jags to pull the trigger on this
If Russia attacked Turkey from the rear, Do you think Greece would help?
not even denver is stupid enough to make this deal. very few might like brady quinn but I still think he could develop into a better qb than garrard given the right coaching.
the headline makes me laugh very hard considering they had 2 chances to draft him INSTEAD of nelson. the drafting gurus for the jags are just laughable
as for reggie nelson. nobodys dumb enough to take this piece of crap off their hands. the guy couldnt tackle at florida. not sure how they they thought he was going to suddenly learn this MOST IMPORTANT technique as to justifying the first pick or really any round for this overrated player? and I heard they had to dumb down the playbook for him. the jags couldnt give henderson away, you think they are going to get a buyer for nelson?
