Really great article I missed from last month at advanced NFL stats. The piece makes a compelling case that unless a free agent is worth significantly more in your scheme/ on your roster than to most others, you will be overpaying any free agent you manage to sign. Perhaps why we only see the Colts re-signing players that are particularly suited for the Tampa-2 on D and have an established chemistry with Peyton on O.
