If i'm remembering right,

Mathews participated in the open practice. I thought he looked pretty good, but couldn’t compete with Guns, White, et al.

It wouldn’t surprise me if he gets picked up elsewhere.

On and off the practice squad last year. Dropped lots of balls in preseason games and Polian talked about him being a project toward the end of camp since he came from a smaller conference. Guess his transition didn’t go well enough, good luck to him in the future.
