Where in the World is Marvin Harrison??
Can anyone tell me. This guy has not retired and has not signed, so what is he doing. It's been a year since he was released, so what is he waiting for? It seems like he has dropped off the planet since his decision to leave the team. After the first few games with Garcon and Collie stepping up, everyone was like, "Marvin Who, did we even have an 88." I mean you hear nothing about him, and I'm sure he could play better than TDONT. If he isn't going to play then why not retire and let the fans send him off "Reggie Miller Style" like he should be. He is the greatest reciever the Colts have ever had, and his career should be celebrated, but it has to offically end to do that. So, Marvin if your out there . . . Whats Up??

He'd be a distraction...
Last year, he could have totally played a full season despite his legal issues. However, teams were concerned with him being a distraction then. It’s only going to get worse now, because the Philly D.A. continues to keep the case open.
Other than that, Marv’s a weird guy. Why would a multi-millionaire own a car-wash in the Philly-hood? So maybe he’s just not that interested. Maybe he’s busy playing Mafia wars on facebook.

That's what i've read.
Marv has invested in Philly. He employs people in an area they can’t otherwise find work.
Careful what you wish for... "A government big enough to give you everything you want is a government big enough to take from you everything you have." Gerald Ford, 38th US president
Marv is too low key for that.
Supposedly he was asking for too much money last year but at this point it’s pretty much just a formality that he’s retired. Clock starts ticking for HOF from when you play your last game so it’s just a matter of him filing paperwork for pension, benefits, etc. It doesn’t surprise me at all that he wouldn’t want something like that. He seemed to hate any attention- never talked to the media, quiet around a lot of the team, didn’t show up at the White House after the SB. I imagine the worst day of his life was SB Media Day when he had to sit there surrounded by 20 reporters. He was just a quiet, aloof guy. The Colts may have some reservations with the ongoing shooting investigation as well.
I would bet he’s back in Philly just running the car wash, bar, etc. If you were brave enough to go into the neighborhood he’s probably still working the door at his bar. He could check your ID.
Just don’t make any sudden, threatening movements if you do find yourself in his bar, lol.
I think you nailed it though. Marvin has always been low key, maybe he just doesn’t want the attention that would come w/ announcing his retirement. Hell, some guys have to be forced into retirement. I think Marvin is one of those types. He’d rather go quietly.

I heard a couple of guys who where up to no good, started making trouble in his neighborhood. He got in one little fight and his mom got scared. I believe she sent him to live w/ his rich, affluent auntie and uncle in the town of Bel Air.

It's believed Marvin Killed someone...
As a player, Marvin was a legend. But I’m a human and have morals. If Marvin did truly kill someone, which the DA’s office has made it clear there is no doubt in their minds that Marvin did in fact kill someone, that is a true shame and tragedy. Thats the real reason the Colts dropped him, not money. Thats the reason no other team has touched him, I doubt it was money.
If he was responsible for killing someone, I don’t think he should go to the Hall of Fame or the Colts Ring of Honor. His name should be completely taken out of the Colts stadium. There is no honor in killing, no matter how famous one is or good at Football.
