11. Indianapolis Colts: Reggie Wayne/Anthony Gonzalez

MIAMI GARDENS, FL - FEBRUARY 07: Reggie Wayne #87 of the Indianapolis Colts warms up before playing against the New Orleans Saints in Super Bowl XLIV on February 7, 2010 at Sun Life Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida. Reggie Wayne is still producing at a very high level in Peyton Manning's offense, coming off another 100-catch season with 1,264 yards and 10 touchdowns. The biggest question mark in the Colts' offense is whether or not Anthony Gonzalez (57 catches, 664 yards in '08) can return from a knee injury that forced him to miss all of 2009 and reassert himself as the No. 2 receiver.

As we saw last season, it almost doesn't matter who the No. 2 receiver is, as Manning made giants out of Austin Collie and Pierre Garcon. However, Gonzalez should get his position back if/when healthy.

The Bleacher Report could be right. But

Who in the league has a better 4 better wideouts then the Colts overall? When you look at it, who cares. We hardly, if ever, use only two wr’s on the field at once. We typically have 3 wides as our base offense. Bleacher Report is doing their job, trying to get eyes on their site. It worked, they baited all of us Colts fans.

Garcon

Is the starting 2, Collie/Gonzalez in the slot and/or 4 WR sets.

Pure Ownage

I would love to see 4WR sets this season. I mean come on, Collie+Garcon+Gonzales+Wayne = alot of restless nights for Defensive Coordinators, another SB appearance, Manning breaking numerous passing records, and just pure ownage.

I prefer Wayne/Garcon as starters with Collie/Gonzo as slots, simply because Garcon seemed able to beat fast CBs on deep routes (as evidenced against the Ravens, he beat Fabian Washington quite easily) while Collie gets great separation in the slot, as much as I hate to say it but Anthony Gonzales hasn’t really wowed me this much .

Hmmmm.

Seems a bit low to me. I’d put Wayne/Garcon as borderline top 5. Borderline because we don’t have a huge body of work for Garcon to show that he’s truly arrived. As a foursome, the Colts definitely have the best/deepest WR corps in the league. And if you include TEs – forget about it!

That's Bull
 1. (smh) this has to be a joke. Gonzo might not have decent numbers yet, but he is a beast. Wayne is just flat out amazing and one of the best WRs ever.
