I'm a native Iowan and a huge Hawkeye fan. I've also been a Chiefs fan since birth (don't blame me, I can't help it). But over the last several years I have followed the Colts, too, as they have loaded up with some of my favorite Hawkeyes of all time (Sanders and Clark, of course, and you guys are going to love Angerer and King, too). The Colts are easily my second-favorite NFL team at this point. And my 15 year old son has rejected my Chiefs (smart kid) and is a big time Colts fan.
So, of course, we are coming to Indy on Oct. 10 for the Chiefs - Colts game. I'll be wearing Chiefs and Hawkeyes gear, but I promise to behave. He will be decked out in Colts gear (probably a Sanders jersey). I am accustomed to the Chiefs losing and expect that outcome. But since it is our first ever Colts game, I'd love to get some tips about enjoying the Colts gameday experience. Where to park, where to tailgate, other things to do before the game, etc. I would appreciate any help you guys could offer. Thanks, and keep Sanders healthy.
