From Mike Chappell:

"Pro Bowl tight end Dallas Clark was unable to finish the workout after injuring his left leg while running a pass route. There was no immediate comment on the severity of the injury."

The injury was first noted by Brett Mock in his Twitter updates from Colts camp yesterday.

Not good

Well looks like I might have to go for Owen Daniels for my fantasy fb now.. I hope Dallas is only sore and nothing serious..

This would be a devastating loss. I sure hope he’s able to get back on the field. Just when you think we’ve never been this healthy heading into the preseason we get hammered with injuries. I keep telling myself this is the NFL. These things happen. But it seems like we have the worst luck when it comes to injuries.

Dallas is needed for this offense

Dallas is simply needed for this offense. He contributes immensely to the undefendability of certain offensive formations. Belichick had high praise for dallas because of this factor.

I would hate to see dallas go out with a prolonged injury, like metallicolts above said …Whenever we say we are the most healthy heading into preseason, the football gods decide to play a cruel joke on us.

From the tweets I saw

it looked like Clark injured a hamstring, but he was still on the sidelines with an ice wrap around his leg. I’m hoping that means it was a pull / strain, and not something more serious. Had it been more serious I would have expected the cart treatment and that he wouldn’t be seen for the rest of practice.

How can you not love a team that does this?

looks like he did get the cart treatment
