1) Could R.Wayne be the odd man out. What is he 31? With all this depth at wide-out it wouldn't surprise if the Colts don't give in to top 10 paid demands.
2) It seems to me the Colts gave Wheeler a long look Sunday. He was out there alot longer than most of the first teamers and that was on special teams too. It was a S.B flashback  watching him get lost in coverage.
3) With the signing of Brackett to a new contract the Colts seem to have strayed  from there business model of not paying alot to keep their linebackers, it is true Brackett has talent but so did many others. I think this has more to say about the lack of depth on there current roster. ( see #2 )
4) I wonder if Peyton is really worried about being the top paid Q.B in the leaque.I mean this guy is a endorsement goldmine. One might think that the 5 to 7 mil. a year could be used to further enhance the roster around him prolonging hie career. Just a thought.
