2010 Colts Training Camp: Offense "cheats" to win bowling tournament win over defense

INDIANAPOLIS IN - AUGUST 15: Peyton Manning #18 ponders how he can cheat at bowling. Photo by Scott Boehm/Getty Images)

After Monday's walk through, the Colts players got together at a bowling alley for a little Offense v. Defense event they call 'The Team Building Bowling Tournament.' The winner got free iPads. Naturally, the always Tweet happy defense provided us with updates throughout the evening.

Jerraud Powers, via Twitter:

Off vs def bowling tourny for ipads right now....people bowling like this their last

Pat McAfee, via Twitter:

4728-4791 in favor of the offense at halftime.. Peyton rigged this sh*t

After the jump, see how Jacob Lacey scored the highest of anyone in the tournament both in his bowling and (in our eyes) his Twitter awesomeness.

Star-divide

At the end of the tourny, the Tweets coming pretty clearly indicated that the offense won, making the defense a bunch of very grumpy men.

Javarris James:

We got them ipads boyyyy.

Robert Mathis:

This is some bull........cheated again!

Pat McAfee:

Rough evening at the bowling alley losing to the offense, but I rolled a 149 and a 135, pretty hyped about triple digits twice

But the Tweet of the night came from Jacob Lacey in response to Pierre Garcon:

@PierreGarcon85: OFFENSE WINS...PG85™

@YungLace27: Shut up

It seems we have a fairly enjoyable and funny group of guys playing for our Colts this year.

Dude, I'd just be happy I didn't kill or maim someone with my bowling swing. :(

It just cracks me up they're having Tweet wars about this. :D

That actually brings to mind a question: If the past tense of “eat” is “ate”, does that make the past tense of “tweet” to be “twa…”

… uh, on second thought, I don’t think I wanna go there…
