Colts claim Danny Gorrer off waivers
Colts claimed CB Danny Gorrer off waivers from the Saints. Apparently he's taking the place of CB Marcus McCauley
[UPDATE]
The Colts have waived Dudley Guice, Andrew Tyshovnytsky, Trevor Anderson, Garrett Lindholm and IR'd Marcus McCauley
over 1 year ago

it would be pretty hard to wave one person, let alone five, unless you're gigantic
fortunately waiving just takes a quick fax to the league office

I bet
Dudley will get grabbed up pretty quick.
Our heads may be bloody, but they are unbowed. We will be back next year better than ever!

my thoughts exactly.... hunch is he will do ok.... with other teams... not sure why he....
didn’t get more chances… probably our beloved Painter didn’t really throw his way… and the last time he did, the ball was intercepted…. so there goes Dudley but Painter stays….

Maybe Guice = Roy Hall
Speed + Size + Brain = useless to WR if they can’t catch. From those that attended camp that was his issue. Giguere hasn’t made much of an impression either and he is still around. That means Guice probably made no impression at all. Seems like a good kid. I bet he does OK in life, just isn’t good enough to be a Colt.
I was at a few practices, and I wasn't impressed.

From what I could see, Guice lacks confidence. Most of the Colt receivers acted like every pass thrown their way was the most important pass of practice and appeared to make every effort to catch it. Guice’s routes weren’t sharp, and if the pass wasn’t exactly where he expected it, he wasn’t able to adjust. I don’t want to imply that he didn’t put in the effort… i don’t think that’s what it was. But it did appear that the other receivers worked harder… but it didn’t appear to be a desire issue as much as it was a confidence that ’I’m going to pull this one in, no matter what’ kind of thing.
Taj, Blair, Sam… they all looked that much better than Dudley.

I would agree with you on the confidence issue.... God knows how tough for a person
to do things if they don’t believe in themselves….. even with the best talents on earth. I wish him the best.. probably some other teams may have the right system for him to shine!!
