I get by with a little help from my friends.

Hey guys. I realize this topic is well, off topic but i figured i could get some help here online from fellow Colt lovers.

I am in a very competitive Fantasy Football league with some friends, and need to win for glory, rubbing it in, and maybe a little green. (Shhhh)

I know a decent amount about football, however i know not of in what order to draft. I can pick players, but not positions, so to speak.

I hope you guys can look past the pointlessness of this topic and help me out, as my draft is in 1 hour. After a few responses, ill erase this fanpost, so please help me out here fellas'. And Ladies, too.

What order is solid to draft? In what rounds do i get what positions? All i know is get a RB first round. Other than that, then what? QB? then 2 WR's? Whats going on?

Thanks a lot, if you could respond in the following format, it would be great, if not, im grateful for any help!

1.RB

2.QB

3.WR

etc. etc.

I win my keeper league consistently

And I do it by going away from what everyone’s doing.

The drop off at RB after the top 3 is not that great from there until say 15-20.

Same for qb and wr.

In each round, go the other way from the run.

Voila,

Winner winner chicken dinner!

It depends where you're drafting

And what else is on the board. The worst mistake you can make is going “I will draft a player at X position in X round”. I tend to draft the best player on the board at a position I have a need. If everyone else is reaching for QBs, fine, I’ll take a #1 WR to be my #2 (this strategy gave me a receiving corps of Andre Johnson, Reggie Wayne, Antonio Gates and DeSean Jackson in a 14 team league). If everyone else is diving for RBs then sure, I’ll happily grab Aaron Rodgers in the third round.

Let the draft come to you, take what’s available. Don’t reach.

Nicely done

I see you’re already in mid-season form, Coltsinsider
