Who should the Colts draft?
Ok, so I want other people to see who i think the Colts should draft and hear other people ideas. So i came up with about 7 players i would like to see the Colts draft. Now everyone knows we HAVE A HUGE PROBLEM IN THE TRENCHES. That's where ball games are won and lost and looking at the Colt vs Jets game you could see why ( besides from that timeout call but whatever it's over). Right now we are situated at about #22 but don't suspect us not to trade backwards a couple of positions for extra picks.
For the First Round we need to protect the QB: So i want to see us draft one or possibly more of theses player if McClendon isn't ready to start.
OT- Dereck Sherrod, a big tackle and if we draft him expect Johnson to be moved to a guard position.
Other picks i like is Anthony Castonzo out of Boston College who could have potential to start as well.
Going outside of the box with Benjamin Ijalana OG/OT Villanova who has the versatility to play both OG/OT not first round talent.
If Lee Ziemba out of Auburnn falls to 4/5th rounder nice prospect i would want him as a backup.
Second Round: Don't think this early we need to get a DT like most mock drafts say seeing how well Mookie and Moala are doing.
I went with CB we need another CB to go with Powers ( I see Hayden being cut)
Brandon Burton 6-1 185 pounds with 2 INT, a smart CB who could slide all the way down to the 2nd as people may overlook his ability . Also Ras-I Dowling but most likely gets picked up in the first round.
Maybe Rashad CarMicheal as a late 4th rounder I don't trust Kevin Thomas and if we can draft a 2nd CB to pair with Powers. I like this Burton comment on going to the NFL "I've gotten good feedback. I can cover in the NFL because that's what I do. I will bring physicality. And good character and this interviewhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=reYhP_oUwWE
3rd Rounder-5th : I see us drafting either this OT/OG , WR, or a DT
For DT I want Drake Nevis of LSU Tigers who runs 4.97 in the 40 yard dash and might fall low seeing how he only played 1 year at starter but is a great run stopper with 12.5 TFL's with 6 sacks and 2 FF and a interception he could be in the rotation with the releasement of Muir. Others would be
Clint Boling OG/OT who is 6'5 and 305 pounds who could be a late round choice maybe 4 and down could be drafted depending on what they want to do with our future lineup as Saturday and Diem wear down.
Jerrel Jernigan WR 4th rounder 5'9 190 pounds and clocks a 4.38 who could also be used with Devin Moore as a kickoff returner or punt returner he has a 7.2 yds average on the ground with 9.8 receiving this year his numbers went down as last year he had a career high of 15.5 per reception and is 6/7 of passing attempts with a TD. Has scored 4 different ways by passing, receiving, kickoff, and rushing. Would be a great addition to the team like a Brad Smith type of player.
I'm not really going to go into the later rounds as besides Oline you will never know where the Colts will draft or who. Rate how i did this was completely fan-based I'm not a expert

I still stand by my frst mock

Though, with #22, OT comes first and the WR I had comes in round2.
We need a OL
Right now we could always get a Late round WR like Jernigan or any others as long as they can draft those hard tough to reach balls and he can be useful . The longer the play the more time the defense coverage breaks down.
But you do have some great players at the mock. hopefully our drafts get playing time without any injuries looking forward to see Hughes improvement during preseason and regular season maybe

Man, I really don't see the need for a WR or CB
1) Gabe Carimi, OT, Wisc. Charlie is re-signed to play LT, and Carimi replaces Diem.
2) Jurrell Casey, DT, USC. Either Mookie or Muir goes bye-bye and the other is re-signed. Casey works in the rotation.
3) Tim Barnes, C/OG, Missouri. I’d take Jason Pinkston of Pitt instead, but I think his versatility will keep him from lasting to the Colts’ pick here.
4) Brian Lainhart, S, Kent St. Small school guy who’s been a ball-hawk and can also tackle. At 6’1", 206, he could play either S position.
5) Zane Taylor, C/OG, Utah. HS class president, nat’l honor society, leader type. Also very strong – reputedly put up 44 reps at 225.
6) Goes to Washington for Justin Tryon.
7) J.T. Thomas, LB, WVa. Non-versatile, cover-2 type of LB. Right up our alley.
Yeah
Hopefully they fire Muir as he kind of majorally sucks to me. We do need a DT to rotate I’m think maybe Ricardo Matthews step up and/or we draft another late rounder. That safety Brain seems like a great Colts player. I don’t want us to draft a LB with stats like Pat and Kavell and we have Session and Hagler and idk about Wheeler yet
