Ok let this be a disclaimer so I'm not a piece of meat thrown to the dogs! I am a Peyton Manning fan first and a colts fan second. I bleed BLUE but at the same time i've bled out..I cant endure many more disappointing 1 and done type seasons. There i said it..but before the stoning commences hear me out. I simply didn't follow pro sports until i moved back to the united states in 2003. Before then collegiate sports were my life. My first year of tentatively following the NFL i saw Peyton and Marv lead this team to insurmountable heights. He is the sole person responsible for me being a die hard fan now. I was captivated by how he controlled the game. He's had a great run in the Blue but let me say that he Deserves a better team. He Deserves at least 2 more rings and the Blue i dont think can get him there. When i refer to the blue i mean the Colts as a whole. From the GM to ST Coordinator simply cannot put the pieces together at the right time to manufacture another SB. We could talk for months about the changes that could be made to the Colts(which we will since our boys are at home now)... better O-Line, more stout defense, another true # 1 receiver, draft a safety, etc etc... but after 14 years they've only managed to get it right once? For 2 years I've wanted to write this. "More after the jump!!!!"  OOoOOwwweeeEee i'm so giddy :-|

Now it kills me to see the Pats or Steelers constantly returning to the playoffs and winning. They've won 50% of this decades superbowls with inferior QB's. This is a colts site so i know you guys back me in the 18 vs 12 discussion.. i digress. Any who I may sound juvenile but its unfair that we have the greatest qb to pick up a pigskin only have 1 ring to his credentials. I think Peyton is more focused on rings than cash. However with the uncertainty surrounding next season and the players union wanting Manning to take the highest contract available i tend to think he will command a very large contract........................................From another team. Like i said we can debate about what coaching, offensive, defensive , and special team moves should be made on the colts or instead of all that just move one person. 2 Birds 1 Stone. PM gets a large contract which sets a bar for future negotiations and lands on a team he can propel into  the playoffs. I mean lets be honest... We couldn't beat the Panthers or the Bills without Peyton. So he easily could take the helm for a mediorce team say the cowboys, cardinals, even the 49ers and take them deep into the playoffs. Hell he would make the vikings a top contender again this year. He would instantly take the Jets to the superbowl and i would love to see him and brady play twice a year. All I'm saying is anywhere else Peyton would have more than one ring. I honestly wanted a poster of manning with like 5 SB rings on his fingers....Kinda like Jordan's Six Rings Poster. I can dream cant I? If Peyton was to leave or get bought out of his franchise tag i wouldn't be mad at him. He has given Indy everything. Now i think Its time he gets his. Just my humble opinion. Oh and don't go calling names... I'm not a troll or an undercover pats fan.. I'm just an fan obsessed with Peyton being better than Brady and as long as Brady has the better team he will outshine Manning! Go Blue Peyton!
