There's a million ways we can go in the draft and we all know the mock drafts are never right when it comes to the Colt's pick. So which route are we going Defense or Offense?
Peyton's going to be 35 this coming season, if Cam Newton or Ryan Mallet are there for our pick should we take them and start grooming our future qb? I wonder how many years Peyton will play and/or wants to play. I know we need an O-Line but Polian already said there wouldn't be starting o-lineman with our pick in the draft. The one good thing this season did was create a little depth in our lineup. I can't wait to see our two tight end set with Clark and Tamme, we are going to roast teams over the middle. We have great depth at Running back with addai, rhodes, brown, and even hart. Hopefully Collie can come back and not get killed out there, maybe he can learn a few things from watching Marvin dive in front of tackles. I wouldn't be surprised if Polian calls a receivers name with our first pick. We've never had a huge physical, fast receiver and I think it could do wonders for the offense. Just imagine Calvin Johnson (or somebody like him) with Peyton throwing him the ball, it wouldn't be fair. For Defense I feel like we're good at LInebacker with Bracket, Sessions, Conner, and D-End (I hope and still believe Hughes won't be a bust), maybe we'll grab a DT or Saftey. Our DT's played nice at the end of the year with Johnson and Moala and I think Bullit can develop into a nice saftely. I don't really know if there are any good players that are going to be available at our pick for those positions. I feel good about our cornerbacks, with hayden, powers, tryon, lacey, and even the mystery guy Thomas from USC will be coming back. Any word on Bullits contract by the way? When it all comes down to it Polian will take the best available player probably which is fine with me what direction do you think we'll go?
